Really? Is anyone deciding who to vote for based on Biden's VP pick?

I'm waiting to see if Biden is actually the person the DNC Elites make their candidate.

I'm sure there's somebody, somewhere, but does that apply to more than the most marginal of numbers? Almost certainly not. People have made up their mind about these candidates far in advance of Electiion Day. Perhaps more so than at any other time in my life.

Joe could pick Sarah Palin and he'd still get my vote.

I'll be voting against the mango marmot.

Palin was an unusual pick because she energized the Republican base. I think she also appealed to Independent women. Unfortunately she couldn't withstand scrutiny and, in the end did more harm than good. I agree that the VP pick only has marginal effect.

I thought it was anus tangerinus

Anus P. McPuckerface is a favorite nickname that i coined. I use it when I'm feeling presidential.

It is logical for me to believe that millions of black votes could depend on Biden's selection of a black, female running mate.
Why, you ask? If Biden wins (and that is a possibility), then a female black VP would have a decent chance of succeeding Biden in 2024 providing things go well for the country. And wouldn't that be an historic bet to make!
We had a black president who was a former professor and community organizer running against a war hero. And he won.
Then a billionaire real estate mogul won.
And now a 77-year old ancient politician has a chance of winning. Why not a black, female VP in 2024?

I think potential voters aren't waiting to see whether who to vote for as much as whether to vote at all.

Why? Joe Biden has already announced he will accept the Democratic nomination in Milwaukee.

There are two reasons for the latter:

1. Not eligible on November 3
2. Not educated about Trump

If you know who you like and what you want, there is no excuse for not voting.

If Biden goes maverick and picks a republican VP I would vote for him. Otherwise no

How about Trump going maverick? I know , far fetched, but what would you do?

It remains to be seen if he will be offered the nomination.

Ask trump, he's a democrat east coast elite. Until he bamboozled the gop into believing he is one of them.

I'm voting democrat no matter who he picks. I'm also voting against any republican in office that I can. It's time to get rid of the cancer called the gop.

All of the primary elections and caucuses are done. Democratic voters decided months ago Joe Biden is the only member of their party who should run against Donald Trump.

The DNC Elites...you know, the ones who REALLY make the decisions...don't give a rat's ass what the Democratic voters think.

Not educated? There are maybe 10 people in America who have not yet formed an opinion of Trump. People are already educated on Trump.

It's Biden who they are not educated on. All his family's criminal influence peddling with the Ukranians and Chinese. And when he finally gets around to picking a VP candidate voters will need educating on all of her skeletons too.

If every voter was educated about Trump, nobody would have voted for him four years ago.

I'm waiting...mostly because I don't think Biden will last the full four years (age and/or mental acuity). That'd mean the VP becomes the President.

If I don't like the VP pick at all, I'll be voting NOTA. Again. :(

On the other hand, a strong VP pick would definitely sway me that way since I have little confidence in Biden. He's too old, too Establishment and definitely too wishy-washy. I especially didn't appreciate his "you ain't black" comment. Skin color, mine or the candidate's, does not affect who I cast my vote for.
