People are educated on Trump. They just came to a different conclusion about him than you.

People asked me to prove Donald Trump said or did something multiple times because they did not know anything about it. I mean, they seriously had no idea I was not making stuff up. So no, people are not educated about Trump if they deny my factual claims.

And what? You think that if people were "educated" about something Trump may have said or did, then they would not vote for him? That's not how it works.

You don't know everything Trump has ever said or did. If there is something he said or did that if you were "educated" on, would you vote for him? That's how silly you sound right now.

People don't vote for or against candidates based on a single utterance or action. They vote on the whole package.
 
I think you'll see some entitled "progressives" throw a tantrum if they don't get their way with the pick, especially if it's not Warren, but in the end most of them will be sensible and get behind Biden. We know the score. We know how close we are to an irreversible slide into fascism, and we're not going to stand for that.

People who are educated about Donald Trump know "the whole package" is evil. I could excuse a guy for lying a few times or forgetting some things that in the big picture don't affect his job, but Trump is bad in every way. He deserves no respect.

Again, just not true. Trump is not evil. And there are many people who are educated about Trump and still support him.

If you are educated about Donald Trump, you know MANY reasons to NEVER support him.

People who "support" Trump always say they have no idea what I am talking about when I tell them what he said and did. That is obviously being completely uneducated about him because I never make this stuff up. They also can't talk about him without saying his opponent is horrible and criticizing Democrats in general. That is obviously just hating the other party, not supporting Trump himself. I also have seen over and over again people love the Republican platform and hate the Democratic one, so they really just voted for the party, not the person. If you can't separate the man from the party, you only like the party, not the man.

And yet people do. You are demonstrably wrong. Many Trump supporters know all the reasons that you do, but on the whole they still find him preferable to Hillary or Biden, who are both just plain awful. The find the good Trump does outweighs the bad.

Because Trump is not evil. And his supporters are not evil. People of good will can differ and remain on good terms and not have to call the other side deplorable.

Trump hates me and thinks I'm evil. Do you deny Trump has said Democrats are evil? I'm a Democrat, therefore I'm evil according to Trump.

Why shouldn't Democrats call Trump evil in return?

Do you have a link to Trump saying "Democrats are evil"? I googled it, but found nothing. I doubt Trump hates you personally. He almost certainly doesn't even know you.

And even if Trump said it - which is yet to be proven - I say Democrats as a class are not evil. There are some Democrats who are evil, but the vast majority are good people who just have a different take on things.

To paraphrase, Forest Gump, "Evil is as evil does."

At the very least you should admit what Trump says about Democrats is just as bad as Hillary's deplorable comment. No?

Shouldn't we hold the POTUS to a higher standard than the average Joe when talking about one third of the electorate?

What someone says on this forum about the other side shouldn't bother anyone, but what our President says about the other side should. At some point we need to raise the bar, don't you agree?

Do you want me to list all the things/names democrats have called Trump and his supporters...we should start by Hillary 'deplorable' comment and on to Trump and his supporter as being nazi/white supremacist.
Maybe you should examine the democratic platform and wonder why they want open borders, free health care for illegals and so. Their obvious support of violence protesters and their burning and looting our cities, destroying national treasures. So in conclusion some on the left appear to be evil. Watch the nightly news and come back and tell be different.

Don't care about what supporters of each side say about each other. We should care what the POTUS says and does no matter whether he or she is a Democrat or Republican.

I expect the President to above the nonsense of mutual destruction of each party. I hold the President to a higher standard than his or her supporters or opponents.

As far my feelings on the Democratic Party?
Not to happy with Democratic House members at the moment This might be my last election as a registered Democrat. The Democrats are lucky they are running against someone with the approval rating of Trumps.

I will probably still vote for Democrats but think more on both sides need to go non affiliated to send a message to both party's.

You just proved my point. You have to completely ignore the opponents and Democratic Party to claim you actually like Donald Trump himself. Hating the other person or party is just hating them, not liking him. Why do people like Trump himself based only one HIS personality, not this "he is not them" business? You also proved me right about Trump being a bad man in your next sentence. So again, I see the same old crap that every "Trump supporte" tells me to answer my questoin.

Does anyone actually care who the VP is?
We have a Deputy Prime minister in the UK and it's considered a bit of a joke job and they have to step in and do PMQ's now and again, I'm not sure the VP does anything does he until the President quits or kicks the bucket.

Why is that? While Biden won the nomination, the majority of delegates and the majority of positions on the platform committee, it doesn't secure the nomination until it's voted by delegates at the convention. While highly unlikely he wouldn't secure the votes, it's not a stupid question at all. It's not over until the fat lady sings, and it would be a beautiful thing if the outcome was unexpected.

The only way a trump supporter would consider voting for Biden is if he chose trump to be his running mate.

No. I actually liked Biden. I wish he would have ran instead of Hillary. He would have won. People voted for Trump because they new Hillary was worse.

Well, obviously they "knew" wrong, since everything they accused her of ended up not being true, and ending up being true a hundred times as much for Trump. So if they could believe so many wrong things about Clinton, then they'll have absolutely no problems believing multiple wrong things about Biden, such as Tara Reade's accusation and vague notions of Ukrainian corruption. So you'll pardon me if I don't attribute such hot judgment to people who voted for trump.
