Fair or unfair treatment?

Trader Joe's Customer Goes Nuts Over Face Masks

A Trader Joe's was the backdrop for an explosion of anger by a customer who felt it was her right to shop without a face mask.

The woman came to the San Fernando Valley store Friday wearing a mask ... the manager tells TMZ. At some point, as she was shopping the mask disappeared from her face. She says she has a breathing problem and that's why she took the mask off, but her lungs were filled with anger as her voice billowed through the store.

Either way ... we're told employees approached the woman and asked her to cover her face, but she refused. At that point, she goes insane, suggesting this was some sort of conspiracy by Democrats.

She was ordered to leave the store -- which she did.

BTW ... Los Angeles is having a huge spike in coronavirus cases. Also, you go to a grocery store you have to wear a mask. Period.

STFU, Karen.

She claimed to have a breathing problem. In this world we only accommodate people with medical issues that we care about so **** her!!! I can't believe that nobody called the cops. That woman could have killed MILLIONS with her breathing and stuff.

If she truly has medical reasons, she does not need to wear a mask. It would also be against HIPAA to make her disclose those reasons. However, I do think anyone with medical reasons not to wear a mask should strongly consider not going into stores and exposing themselves to COVID-19 since the virus would likely exacerbate most of those medical conditions. There are plenty of options to have groceries delivered or ask family/friends to do her shopping while wearing masks.

I think it's a sarcastic epithet.

It’s funny, Grip, I posted that before I watched the video then I was like, “damn you video guy, that was my joke.”

I agree with your first point, ignoring the sarcasm. If she truly has a breathing problem, she should be more careful not to expose herself to the virus and find a safer way to get her groceries.

Right. We shouldn't allow people with medical issues out inn public.

This virus is the new "secondhand smoke". If anyone near you is breathing you're pretty much guaranteed to die.

Honestly, Luther, it seems to me that if she can scream at the top of her lungs and storm out, wearing a mask would actually be less of an exertion on her lungs.

In regards to your OP title . . . phrasing, man, phrasing. I thought this thread was going to be a WHOLE lot wierder.

My mother has severe respitory issues. It's for this reason that she normally doesn't go anywhere at all, and rarely makes direct contact with those of us who do not share the same household.

She sure isn't showing any breathing difficulty...

Looks like she is faking an illness to get special treatment #conservativelyingheifers... :peace

Yes. Screaming that you have a breathing problem and you can’t wear a mask is pretty much direct evidence that whatever breathing problem you have, a mask wouldn’t be detrimental.

I’ve worked with many patients with respiratory issues and I can’t think of anyone who medically could not wear a mask if they didn’t have chronic oxygen.

And if they had chronic oxygen therapy, they probably should wear a mask in public for safety along with their nasal cannula.

The OP title is straight off the sourced link but shortened.

If you see someone without a mask, don't get angry. Just go up to them, pull your mask down and cough on them a few times.

After the 10th or 20th person coughs on them they'll get the message.

I see all kinds of people at our stores not wearing masks and nobody says 'boo' to them. Ironically, I rarely see black people here wear masks. Just an observation, not racial. Though they wear them at the protests I see on the TV News.

"I have a hard time breathing but seem to be able to holler loud enough to peg the sound meter over in the red" Either that or her Doctors are Laurel and Hardy.

That doesn't change the fact that it quite clearly sounds like a reference to ejaculation.

I didn't catch that, it's hilarious.

I'll be more careful with my teabag references.

I'm probably going to be giggling like a twelve-year-old throughout today's shift.

Remove the last word from the title and it really gets randy.
