Oh it's making a big splash. Books are being censored, (may as well burn them), Newspapers caving to SJW's, Now this. Paw Patrol?!? Seriously??? Firing people without due process. Yep, It's all here. If Trump wins in November, It will prolly be the last pubbie in the WH. The country will go the way most big cities ran by the democrat party. Take a look at my home town, or Seattle. That's what the country will be like. You may find your house smack dab in the middle of an "Autonomous Zone".
As a retired businessman, I can testify there was never due process when I fired someone. When I determined an employee earned a dismissal, I fired that employee. Didn't happen very often, because I hired right. I fired 5 employees during 29 years. 3 women who got busier arguing with each other than doing the job, one trusted high producing salesman for theft, and another for sexual harassment of female employees, well before fashion dictated. Some problems cannot be foreseen, but they cannot be tolerated,
I live in NYC, an extremely democrat dominant political culture, extremely liberal, with all the problems that big urban center can develop. It is still a great place to live, a great place to raise a family, and expensive. But few places offer as many opportunities for gaining wealth. As I walk down the three blocks to a small commercial strip of stores, I pass more trees than I can count. We are the beneficiaries of multiple parks, some huge, some small, excellent public schools, private schools for those who want that path, and many good people. People who basically want the same things, safety, quality environments for their families to flourish, and the usual desires. And neighbors who aren a PITA.
There are people of all ages, diverse backgrounds, and community spirit.
No one can predict the future, no one has a crystal ball that works. Part of the adventure of life, we never know what is coming down the tubes. My grandfather use to complain the world was doomed, all the real cowboy stars were dead, Tom Mix and those early heroes of the silent westerns. We, as kids, had no idea who he was talking about.
We knew John Wayne, Joel McCrea, Steve McQueen, Richard Boone (Paladin), the boys of Bonanza, Chuck Conners and so forth. He'd say, "feh, none of them are real cowboys." The last western we saw together was Blazing Saddles. Afterwards he said, between laughs, "that was a real western." He never owned a six shooter, but I still have his .26 two shot pocket pistol that fit in his vest pocket. I don't think he ever loaded it or fired it. It is still that clean, well oiled and sitting in a box in my gun vault. Every now and then I show it to my grandchildren, along with the bullet mold, some spare lead, melting tin, bullet file, an unopened tin of black powder, 12 brass cartridges and a cleaning kit.
