WASHINGTON — Secret Service agents rushed President Trump to a White House bunker on Friday night as hundreds of protesters gathered outside the executive mansion, some of them throwing rocks and tugging at police barricades.

Trump spent nearly an hour in the bunker, which was designed for use in emergencies like terrorist attacks, according to a Republican close to the White House who was not authorized to publicly discuss private matters and spoke on condition of anonymity. The account was confirmed by an administration official who also spoke on condition of anonymity.

Well, if it is up to the MSM to let us know, then they will likely play it up as the "worst thing ever." In other words, business as usual.

It's normal for the Secret Service to move the President to a safe location when massive riots erupt in front of the WH and 60 Secret Service agents have already been injured.

So, what's your problem?!?

Do you ever answer your own poll questions?

What do YOU think? Should a President be taken to a safe place if the SS finds the situation dangerous? If a President is in a safe location, does that make him weak? If so, why? Is it only Trump that would be weak for doing it or all Presidents throughout history that have been rushed to a safe place?

In this condition it is the Secret Service calling the shots on protecting the President.

Politics aside, it is supposed to be this way.
 
It seems pretty clear that Fox and Trumpers have quickly forgotten the foolish claim about Joe Biden hiding in his basement.

Biden has been cowering in a bunker for months.
 
It’s really best for him and his foul mouth to be kept out of sight as much as possible. America is a tinderbox right now and his mouth is a match. It is absolutely not possible for him to speak reassuring words to de-escalate and tune down a tense situation. His mouth is only got one button, and that’s to insult and further inflame.

If I were his advisers, I would try to keep him out of sight and in the bunker as much as possible until November when he will hopefully be able to just safely leave the White House and leave the country alone.

Something tells me Trump has had his phone and computer taken away from him.

I have not seen any stupid tweets or comments from him. I wonder if Pence had to take them away and give Trump some candy in exchange

This is a Trump bad non story.
 
I watched the D.C. coverage over the weekend, including the bicycle-rack barricades erected being torn down by protesters, and wondered if any of the yahoos actually thought they would be able to attack the White House itself.

Would the American people stand for this? I say no and think lives would have been lost had those behaving violently tried.

Irrespective of who the President is, the Secret Service has protocols to protect him or her. Trying to make Trump out as a coward is just really stupid. Doesn't matter who the President is; the President must be protected, and it looked for awhile as if protesters were going try to storm the White House.

I am sure Trump had little choice but to follow the SS reccomendation. But yes, the optics do not do much for his tough guy persona, which we know is BS. I like how the Chinease have been ribbing Trump, luv it!!
