Lana Del Rey insisted "the culture is sick right now" after backlash over her comments on equality.

The 'Born to Die' hitmaker - who recently hit out at "the "female writers and alt-pop stars" who have accused her of "glamorising abuse" - has continued to defend her comments despite being accused of being racist for comparing herself to the likes of Ariana Grande, Cardi B, Camila Cabello and Beyonce.

Taking to Instagram, she said: "I just want to remind you that in that post, my one and only personal declaration I've ever made -- thanks for being so warm and welcoming -- was about the need for fragility in the feminist movement.

"When I mentioned women who look like, I didn't mean white like me. I mean the kind of women who, you know, other people might not believe because they think 'Oh, well look at her she ****ing deserves it' or whatever.

"When I get on the pole people call me a whore, but when [FKA] Twigs gets on the pole it's art. The culture is super sick right now...

She needs no one else's approval or validation of her choices. Good for her if her choices work for her. It is her life, not yours.

Honestly, I'd kick her out of my bed. There is more room on the floor.

Lana Del Ray is mad that people called her a perv for dancing ona strip pole yet black singers annd pop singers dance on a pole and noone shames them.

If you feel ashamed that your fans judged you for dancing on a pole thats your problem and noone elses!

Lana is obsessed with making pseudo abusive love songs and the pop writers are obsessed with singing about sex, and now shes making a call to all feminists. Yet shes danced on a pole herself..... Im thinking shes just mad that Dojacat gets 135 million views in 2 weeks.

If her pole dancing song was getting 135 million views in 2 weeks instead of Dojacat im pretty sure she wouldnt be complaining at all.

Just do a Google search on Dojacat and racism. Which I think is a bunch of 'sick culture' towards females and people, in general, expressing anything edgy.

Dojacat told a white person "Suck my dick, n****r" and shes black. She was just being edgy. I was in the chat room when it happened lol.

She also asked a different person, a black man if he would have some babies with her during that conversation.

Lana Del Ray is just throwing a popularity tantrum. If she wants their sex appeal attention that they have then start dressing up in black leather. Lana Del Ray is a pretend feminist that really just wants to be more popular and throwing other female artists under the bus. Yet shes danced on a pole herself!

That's what I mean by culture trying to uber control freedom of expression, it's sick. Everyone is trying to shame everybody about something said.

I mainly take supplements and eat a healthier diet. I also use natural shampoo and conditioner.
