You ever going to prove it was only democrats since the society in the US is not divided into political parties, people work together all over the US that vote either way, politicians do not control every segment of society so when you go on your diatribe about your fantasy illogical conclusion it is not the truth you are seeking to extoll which is a grievous slight upon your character. The USA suffered more than 291,000 combat deaths and an additional 113,000+ non-combat deaths during WWII. That's over 400,000 war related deaths. So matching WWII will not happen until the end of the year if trends continue as they have for the last four months.

If your baseline remains 100,000 that was probably reached as a threshold already, since the virus probably killed thousands before we realised it was a new disease. When researchers have time they will probably use post mortem tests on archived blood and tissue samples to get a better handle on the very early stages of this pandemic.

If you mean the official count, then which official count do you mean? Based on the data which I follow where the USA has 97,457 deaths right now, I would estimate you folks will reach that appaling threshold by Monday night or early Tuesday morning. So sometime around the 26th of May I am sorry to say.

HOW the HELL could anyone predict, just two days ago, that the 100K mark would be breached on May 30 or AFTER ? They had to be absolutely clueless as to what the current totals were and, obviously, didn't care.

And while I don't know what the "other" check two folks predicted, I am sure of one thing: I've almost WON! Yep, I wrote that today it would be very close (and it was) and tomorrow it should cross the threshold (and it almost certaintly will). So I will get 50 internet points !
