Why do educated voters NOT like Trump?

Part of education is learning how the think. Critical thinking, problem solving

These kinds of people don't listen to right wing pundits for the answers to their problems. They think for themselves.

They like tax cuts and deregulation

For them it's all about the money

for Trump haters-it seems all about getting money from others

Right wing propaganda is very effective

Leftwing propaganda is more so because the leftwing mindset is one of a herd mentality and conformity

Well educated voters don't buy into the whole 'trickle down' BS unless they're in the top few percentage points in wealth (or think they are) and find the excuse is handy for them. They don't believe the stock market is a good indicator of the actual strength of the economy in terms of individual benefit; nor do they accept raw job numbers if most of those jobs are crappy minimum wage ones with no health coverage. These are boilerplate Republican stuff anyway and not really Trump's, but to get the party behind him, he had to assume that mantle. Educated observers would also see that his economic and trade policies, while not really damaging the stock market, are not sustainable in the long term and certainly will not weather this current crisis.

They don't by into his racist and divisive policies and rhetoric. Now some voters can swallow the bile and support Trump because they're into his right wing policies (or at least those of the party that props him up, since he really has no vision of his own). However this should also answer the frequent cries of 'why all the hate against Trump?' coming from the Right: In the last week he's called a newsman a murderer, Clinton a 'skank', retweeted that Dems and rioters should be shot out of hand. That's just this week.

He keeps saying hateful things - he's built his brand on it since his birther days. He's pandered to neo-confederates and white nationalists and shat on migrants, minorities, women, gays and 'the libs' his whole political career. It is not irrational or hysterical or 'TDS' to dislike a man who behaves this way. You'd think he was a complete d!ck if he was your neighbor.

Finally, anyone watching the man and his career knows he's a fake. He only wanted to be president, not to actually do the job. He had no vision and no real policies beyond the vague notion that somehow he'd convince his supporters he's making America 'great again'. He had no understanding of the system of checks and balances, no willingness to learn, and when he found the parts that don't fit his authoritarian streak, he has sought to undermine them. He's a conman, simple as that, and he has tricked his voters into giving him a job he is singularly unqualified for.

My sig below sums it up:

Rick, the way you phrased your reply would certainly indicate you don't listen or learn from Conservatives, so you fall into the group so often called out by Conservatives. You have learned only from lefties and are thereby bound to respect their shell game. Please do think for yourself. Consider independently the immense failure of the communal and social programs proffered by the left. The last I checked, they are still wanting ant colony selfless participation by the masses. We are of a mass, but not of ants. Humans just won't buy into sacrifice for the bigger good for survival. We buy into reward from self determination and individual effort.

CP

Well i guess we will have to agree to disagree

FDR's new deal was one of the greatest improvements in American's quality of life. Republicans would repeal it.all if in doing so they could keep their phoney baloney jobs.

Reagan's Truckle Down Economics was a great boon to the 1% but has certainly reduced quality of.life for America's middle/working class.

Just a couple of examples. There are many more.

That tired right wing talking point about Democrats want a socialist country is total BS like everything.else spouted by right wing pundits. Democrats want a country that gives a level playing field to everyone. Not one run by the wealthy for the wealthy.

Right wing propaganda is very effective
The left wing propaganda monopoly was finally broken in the late 70s. The media is still pissed about it.

That said, the left still owns the propaganda schools, which they still insist on calling journalism for some reason. They have taught activism for decades and openly mock journalism.

Leftwing propaganda is more so because the leftwing mindset is one of a herd mentality and conformity
It reminds you of Hydra,"Compliance will be rewarded."

Well educated voters are willing to look past the propaganda on both sides and dig out the facts. As much as propagansists may wish that facts could be excluded, the are necessary to spin the narrative. With diligence and a willingness to look everywhere, even so-called tabloids, it is possible to gather the facts.

It is easy to support Trump if you have the facts.

Psalm singing ..... and holding a bible?

@ Trump & the Bible

Isn't it nauseating?

This sheer hypocrisy

Why do educated voters NOT like Trump?

There may be thousands of reasons for it.
