Well, I don't mind if he wants to leave the White House and take up residence in Mar-a-Lago once the Fall descends on us, but you're plain nuts if you think that the BEST President in U. S. History will resign as the leader of the Free World for any reason. Simply put, there is no one qualified to take his place!

The DJIA will be back to 30,000 within a few months once the COVID-19 Pandemic starts to dissipate.

Trump deserves to brag -- just look at what he has done.

Trump first said The Covid 19 virus was a New democratic hoax correct !!! he also first said treat this virus like a flu correct!!! he also said it will just go away in a few weeks ..CNN the DNC did not say this,,Trump said this . also Trump was brief by the united states biological warfare Dept that this virus was dangerous and we are nor prepared for it in early December. also in April 2019 Trump new we were not prepared for a pandemic but yet he blames this on previous administration even though he has been in control of house and senate for 2 years and in office 3 years. Yes the people that dies from this virus is Trumps fault just like the people that died in bengazi was hillarys fault!!! f--king remember!!! I pegged you correctly - a person using a standard from a couple centuries ago to try and make a point attacking liberals today. That is what you were doing and its pathetic.

Trump will not resign because Democrats do not like him. He may resign if his approval rating gets so low by the Republican National Convention that the Republican Donor Class that dominates the Republican Party orders him to resign so that a Republican is nominated who may defeat the Democrat nominee.

Right now that does not seem likely. If the warm weather chases COVID-19 away, like it chases colds and the flu, the stock market and the jobs market will recover. Trump may be reelected by a large majority in the popular vote.

23 hours of God-knows-what that they called an "opening statement" where they all just repeated themselves ad nauseam, not offering a single damn [new] thing except to say that EVERYTHING you'll need to impeach Trump is contained in this document; then the dems wanted more witnesses and more documents - FOR WHAT?? WHY?? They just said such things would be unnecessary because the House's Articles of Impeachment had it all.

He did not win the majority vote.
He talked dirty about women's body parts with democrat friends years ago.
He talked with Russians.
He said there is evidence of widespread voter fraud in the country.
He said nice things about Kim Jun Ugh or whoever he is.
He uses Twitter.
He disrespect reporters asking gotcha questions.
He said he wished the AG would shut Mueller down and save the country millions on the misguided, ill-conceived, Russian conspiracy theory witch hunt.
He said unkind things about Comey for leaking classified documents in violation of American law.
He said the Russian collusion conspiracy theory was a bunch of lying crap invented by democrats.
He demoted Vindman and Obama's ambassador to Ukraine.
And about a million other things, including the fact that Americans have now contracted the coronavirus.

He won't, but he should.

I realize that his supporters on this board will always support him no matter what. Their belief in him is blind. They will never observe or acknowledge any of the things he has said, the lies and what he did and did not do that was wrong. One can show them the written documentation on this issue, the video, everything. It won't matter, they won't look at it; it's all fake news, the deep state, etc. I mean, a lot of what is used to point out how inept Trump is...comes from Trump himself in his twitter feeds, his campaign speech videos, the press conferences...but...when you so badly want to believe in your worldview, that you feel that your power is "being taken away", that you can't stand a minority as president, that anyone who doesn't support Trump is a socialist (despite the fact that Trump just enacted a socialist's wet dream with the assistance package) that you are willing to lie to yourself...it becomes real easy to be a stooge.

I know this, because I was an independent conservative for a long time. I switched because I couldn't swallow the lies anymore. And I never could lie to myself. Even now, as a Democrat, there are things that I don't agree with...but because I don't lie to myself for the sake of my worldview...it is easier to stay in a party that doesn't demand that I like to myself. There were things Obama did that I didn't like, I'm not a fan of Biden. But at least I don't have to lie to myself about it.

There will be some things that I vote conservative on, other things will be liberal. And I can do that because I can reconcile what I feel to be good for myself and this nation. I owe allegiance to no one person. I owe allegiance to the nation...and if you think a person is the personification of the nation like Trump supporters do...then you are not truly American because you have missed the whole damn point of it all.

That's what elections are for. The people will decide if the president is doing a good job or not, not partisan witch hunt investigations or impeachments started by the minority party, just because they can vote 218-217 when they have control of the House. And that goes for BOTH sides.
