joko, what I find strange about this whole thing is this new Political Correctness that has infiltrated into all corners of the world like George Orwell wrote about where we are ordered and coerced not to tell the truth but to mask it and pretend the elephant in the room doesn't exist. In my OP on WHO named the virus, it was a sorry sight to behold how vehemently those on the left defended this being called COVID-19 instead of the China virus which was traditional for 130 years. Now we know that both China and the heads of WHO are in bed together and it was the WHO that named this pandemic after both China and them being slow to inform the United States of the potential problem, by which time numerous flights to and from China had taken place, thereby infecting all of America.

So, rather than the public being made aware of this, the vast majority of them think this is just some virus that somehow Trump is responsible for because he acted too slow. This is the narrative our evil media and the Democrats are portraying to the sheep and they are buying it like they did the Russian Collusion lie.

Trump thought it was a hoax early on, as you most likely did. Trump followers trying to clean up his lack of action/concern after the fact is laughable.

it is hot in Florida and is passing like wildfire...it is hot in South Carolina and the cases are jumping like hotcakes here too.

Wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap. Rinse with water. Not 15 seconds, a full 20 seconds to keep healthy.

OKay to prove you are a doctor of medicine or a scientist, tell us what Trump could do to prevent the virus that he has not done?

And keep this in mind. The Government is not merely that in DC, it includes your city, your county and your state. What did they do to save you?

Remember this. It appears most are not going to get sick enough they feel like not going out. A high percent of the public are already immune. Florida as of April 1 has 87 deaths. How many millions do you suppose live in Florida and how many more are there on business or vacation?

You do not clean up what was never wrong. We know the difference in genuine alarm vs that which is clearly used for a campaign issue. Trump is only the president. Not the surgeon General.

But note that Washington took this pandemic seriously and started counter measures at least two weeks before New York even acknowledged a problem and the body count show the results. While officials in New York fiddled Washington acted in the interest of its citizens.

The virus hit Australia at the end of the summer. Sometimes over 100 degrees. So I don't think hot weather has had an effect.

I am not clear on your logic. If 80 percent show no signs, it means their own body antibodies defeated the virus. So how can a defeated virus harm any others? Same as a vaccine. How can a vaccinated person harm others?

Why do doctors mention the change in climate then? Flu season, cold season, etc.

One of those "experts", Dr. Fauci just a month ago said the "Death toll will be 2% if you just do the math" and now other "experts say it will be 0.66 which is a 65% LESS death toll than he said.

I'm fine with those who have expertise in a certain field but here we have one that should have learned math. I said long ago that the death toll is not going to be anywhere near what the "experts" said. This is why I don't believe when someone says a certain "expert" said so and so because that is just believing someone because they have a few initials after their name. I do my own checking.

The administration is now projecting a 'best case scenario 'of between 100k and 200k' American deaths. You onboard with that or no? Since you do your own checking I'm interested in whether Trump's people are full of ****.

The reporters said the virus was dangerous and serious. Trump said that was a hoax and that it was less dangerous than the flue. Trump's lies and inaction wasted precious time that could have been used to prepare for what the reporters said was coming. Trump labeling the danger as a hoax is what cost lives.

there is preliminary evidence coming out that it is airborne...washing hands won't fix that.

Airborne transmission is “plausible,” according to a study published in the print edition in the peer-reviewed The New England Journal of Medicine this week from scientists at Princeton University, UCLA and the National Institutes of Health. The researchers concluded that the virus could remain airborne for “up to 3 hours post aerosolization.”

at this very moment with the present numbers of dead vs tested in the US....the death rate is 2.2% So if 1 million (which is conservative imo) become infected that translates to 22,000 we already know that more than 1 million people will be infected, especially considering that it seems our population do not understand what stay home means.

We presently have 200,269 infected(that we know of) and 4394 people who have died...that translates to 2.2%...yes, there are some beliefs that people are walking around with it and don't know it and thus are spreading it, but the cases tested vs people who have died is seeming to hold steady in percentages.

I totally believe this is an airborne thing but you could touch something with the virus on it and rub your eyes, nose, or mouth and get the virus. So, hand washing is important. But, it is also important that people should know that most people are getting this through breathing in virus droplets in the air. They go through your nose, mouth, and eyes. So, if you wash your hands all the time and wear a mask, you could walk through air with the virus in it and it gets in your eyes and you've got it. And, if where you are at has heating/air conidtioning going, it constantly stirs up the air. People need to be alert about this like when they go to the grocery.

He can't be like you guys and carrying a set of pearls to clutch.

Thing is, China and the WHO lied to us They hid the facts. This virus was learned about by them in NOVEMBER, a full three months after the alarm bells was rang. How many Chinese traveled to and from that rat hole virus infested place in two-three months? BUT..........Trump was led to believe that it was just discovered and so there was no way for him to have known the totalitarian regime of China and the WHO hid the ball. The virus hit the United States much earlier than January but since the doctors didn't know about it, all those who died or were sick were chalked up as the flu.
