This tweet gave me an idea for a poll.

There is not one of the 52 Senators who voted to acquit @realDonaldTrump who wouldn't rather have @VP in the Oval Office right now. You broke it, you own it.

In this time of crisis, who would you rather see in charge? Don or Mike.

There is no third option.

None of the Above

Ofdon or ofmike is not a choice.

With Trump you get an incompetent utterly despicable human being. With Pence you get a marginally competent, utterly despicable human being. I am not sure which is worse. Between the two of them, in some ways I think we are better off with Trump as he will be willing to engage in any kind of Keynesian Stimulus, no matter how big, if he thinks it will help his reelection chances. With Pence, you could get a lot of magical thinking in regards to the economy during this crisis.

Yes, we have all died and gone to Protestant heaven, which is really hell for most of us.

Mike Pence. He is, despite all the smears against him, a decent with good conservative values slowly swinging in the gibbet that is called the Vice Presidency. I would choose him without second thought.

Are you sure?? He seems too orgasmic to me.

My thoughts on Pence is he would actually do the right thing, would have done it months ago, and would put the best people on the job. Trump's ego will not allow for any of the above.

I wouldn't call him "orgasmic" in the slightest. He is a man who looks and sounds pained. Like a man who was forced to eat rusting nails which have lodged in his stomach, but is obligated to remain chipper nonetheless. Which is probably what I would feel like if I felt forced to defend Donald Trump day in and day out in order for him to defend a conservative platform.

Mike Pence has a lot to learn. Trump makes him look a lot better than he actually is.

I'd rather vote neither, but since that wasn't an option, I went with Pence. He's far from ideal, but at least he grew up and matured, and he can read and understand....that's a plus compared to the dunce we're stuck with now.

We disagree. Pence swore an oath to us, not 45.

Pence. He's a far-right sack of ****, but he doesn't strike me as one who would threaten to keep life-saving ventilators away from a state because the governor's comments bruised his fragile ego.

I may not agree with all of his politics but I believe Pence is more genuine than Trump.

Pence is a more rational person. Has a son who was or still in the military and that there makes me think he has a far better idea what it is like to have a family member in that role.

I would love to hear the conversation Pence has with his wife after he has spent an afternoon with a 73 year old man in drag make up.

Pence. He’s anti-science and homophobic as all get out, but trump is concerned exclusively with adulation of himself and retribution against those he deems his enemies.

Sorry, but you can tell tell me all day long how bad Pence is and it will never be a close contest.

I picked Trump. Pence is a nice guy, maybe too nice. And he's a about as inspiring as a wet piece of spaghetti.

I said Trump because he was smart enough to put Pence in charge already.

^that

Of course Pence. I don't hold with his religious views but he has governing experience and knows the constitution. He's also not a megalomaniac and a buffoon. Trump makes everyone look better.
