Tick tock, tick tock . . . Is anyone ready to answer yet?
Tick tock, tick tock . . . Is anyone ready to answer yet?
You did not. You asked for opinions. You received opinions. There is no contradiction. I told you to prove something for a reason. The burden of proof is on the claimant. The entire time it has been about proof. Do you have a reading comprehension problem?
The Barack Obama birther lie: During his first campaign for President, Obama publicly released his birth certificate to prove he is a Honolulu native. But Republicans spent all eight years spreading the stupid myth that Barack is from Kenya. Doanld Trump was asked if he believed it during a debate against Hillary Clinton. He did believe that and talked as much about that as anything else.
Another Republican lie Trump told during a debate was Clinton supports abortion up to the last day. Republicans have a bad habit of making this assumption about Democrats who already made it clear in the past they support the "viability" deadlilne (usually thought to be ~24 weeks), including Clinton herself.
So what? Do you deny the reports about Trump sexually assaulting women by grabbing their private parts and bragging he can do that? Yes or no.
The birther crap is BS. I agree with you there. It comes down to the amount of time his mother lived in Hawaii, and the age she was at the time, etc. So yeah it's BS, but it isn't an official "Republican" position.
HRC supports the RHA, which allows abortion past 24 weeks if it effects the "health of the mother." That would include mental health issues like depression, or whatever loophole they want to use. Although I am personally against abortion, I agree with the democrat party on this part of their platform: "The party strongly opposes any efforts or legislation that might undermine this right, stating, “abortion is an intensely personal decision between a woman, her family, her doctor, and her clergy; there is no place for politicians or government to get in the way.” We part ways when my taxes are used to perform one however.
For argument's sake, even if both were lies, do you think that it's a reason not to vote for your candidate? I mean, even if the Democratic candidate did the same thing, but their overall policies aligned with yours?
RHA is the "Reproductive Health Act".Barack was born in Hawaii. Ebnough said. Why does it matter when his father moved to the United States?
I can't remember any Democrats saying Obama
What is the RHA?
Not all Democrats support requiring the government to pay for the abortion itself. I am fine with that position. But in case you have not seen my posts in the abortion forum I refuse to accept forcing uninsured women to pay for obstetrics appointments out of pocket.
It is not just the fact Trump lies, but how - which sometimes is even worse than the lie itself - and his motive that make me wonder why people like him. Why is it that people like a man who says he can grab women by their private parts and shoot someone dead in New York City? A man who says all Mexican drug cartels need to be removed from the Earth?
RHA is the Reproductive Health Act.
My point was, I don't like him. He's a pompous ass. The crude things he say's isn't why I will vote for him. (I didn't vote last time) I vote on the issues. That's the context I was asking you about. It is a hypothesis. Hypothetically, if Biden get's the nomination, and his policies supported the type of issues you care about, but he acted and said the crude things Trump says, and Trump didn't, would you vote for Trump? To put it simpler, do you vote for the issues, or likability?
This is a literal and isolated question. If all you care about is opposing the Democratic Party and supporting whoever the Republican nominee would have been, this thread is not for you. That is not liking Trump himself, just liking what he is not. I want to know why people who like Trump himself, based only on what he says and does, not any lies the conservative media tells.
I like some of the things he has done, while disliking how he says things. For example I think it was time people cared more about blue collar workers in America, than about saving a buck on another shirt they probably don't need. I like the fact that he pulled out of the Paris agreement which does not stop America from using more renewables but does not ask us to pay for others to do so. I like the fact that he confronted our European allies to pony up more for their defense. I disliked what he said about POWs of the Vietnam war.
I also liked Bill Clinton as our president. Although how he treated Monica was despicable. So I separated his lack of personal morals from his ability to steer our nation.
At the end of the day we get two viable options when we vote for president. So oftentimes we pick through the trash and pick the best of a bad lot.
Fourteen pages and I am still waiting for people who are educated about Donald Trump to clearly explain why they like him specifically. That is why I added "Smart people hate Donald Trump" to my signature. If you don't like that line prove you are educated about Trump's past and present behavior - all of it that is ever reported, not just what conservative media state opinions about - and that they are all reasons to like him personally, not just for being Republican.
Stop lying Griff. Only tell me totally unbiased, proven, objective facts about everything Donald Trump said and did. I am right until proven wrong and always recognize proof when I see it.
Everything that I wrote was factual.
Your "proof recognition meter" must have been off the charts with the content of my post.
What are your rebuttals to some of my answers if you consider them false then?
John
Trump single handedly prevented Hillary from becoming our next president. Neither Mittens Romney or John McStain had the fire power to defeat the Dems. Go along to get along losers! He was just what the country needed to get us back on the right track.

14 pages and many direct answers to your question, is what I think that you mean.
Face facts - The democrats have been trying to stop Trump and his policies since the early morning of the day after election day, 2016, when we all learned that Donald John Trump, a Great American, had been elected President of the United States. The stock market skyrocketed.
Because of Trump's "direct" governing style, many take his words out of context, making a statement say something else.
As far as answering your question as to why educated people [and others] like him, it comes down to common sense.
Apparently, POTUS is not supposed to have a sense of humor. Too bad because Trump does and displays it often in TV interviews, speeches and tweets. But of course the dems play dumb and take his words as gospel when it is obvious that Trump was joking.
Trump is a billionaire many times over and will often say so, but that does not turn off his base and other supporters. He is just being honest. Take Pelosi and her insider trading with the stock Visa in point. Trump does not need to commit a felony like insider trading the way that Nancy Pelosi did to increase his net worth. She of course explained it all away and was never prosecuted and allowed to keep the proceeds of the dirty deal. Had Trump made the same trade based on the same insider information that Pelosi did, the dems would have of course impeached him.
Trump is a true "regular American" able to relate to tens of millions of middle class people. I think that this is one of his strongest traits. Just look at the attendance at his awesome rallies for proof.
Trump is a man of his word. Look no farther than his campaign promises.
- Renegotiate NAFTA. . . DONE - replaced with USMCA
- Address Trade Deficit with China. . . DONE - and tariffs still in place reaping the US tens of billions in income ever since the tariffs were put in place. Every President since either Nixon or Ford had bitched about the unfair trade deficit with China, but no President did anything about it until Trump took office.
- Rebuild the plundered Military. . . DONE & IN-PROGRESS (continuing) -- A lesson should have been learned with the debacle that occurred in the desert outside of Iran in 1980 (??) when military helicopters collided resulting in death and destruction while attempting to rescue the hostages in Iran. The primary problems were sub-standard military equipment and lack of military preparedness. This is a constant theme every single time that a democrat becomes a POTUS -- military spending is cut substantially. Absolutely disgraceful.
Trump, however, obtained huge budget increases for the military so that they could update all and even created a new branch of the Military for outer space, which was long overdue.
- Establishment of a "White House Veterans Hotline" . . .DONE -- The Hotline "provides veterans a supplemental option to report issues if they are not being addressed through VA's normal customer service channels," although located in West Virginia and not physically located at the White House.
*** END OF PART 1 ***
I had not given you one yet, so you actually are asking me for a first one.
BTW I do not drive or ride a scooter.
Because nobody who claims to like Trump has been able to confirm what I stated about him, with every single supporter instead asking me questions, it should be . . . SMART PEOPLE HATE TRUMP.
I told you to prove all of your claims. You still have not done it. If you were right and I was wrong about anything, you would have already proven those claims about everything.
Nothing you say is even remotely close to the truth unless all of it is proven beyond doubt. Got it?
Obviously the House and Senate found that Trump wasn't proven guilty beyond doubt.
As I said, I know that you couldn’t grasp how it could be true.
You’re in Idaho so you probably fee like this isn’t all that real for you. It will be.
The House of Representatives certainly did prove he was guilty beyond doubt. Not just thought it, but proved it. They had a lot of evidence and were fully aware of more documents Trump staffers were ordered not to turn over. Seventeen witness testimonies under oath occured.
