many will .... many will not, nor will the State VA, which along with Colorado, has moved into the blue camp and thus generally out of Trump's reach.

Then why didn't the assault weapons ban pass in VA? Seems to me that if you were correct, that bill should have sailed right through.

Disagreed. Sure, there are always a few nutjobs who'd do such a thing just like there are RWNJs on this forum supporting Russia against the US military and intelligence services, but all are a tiny minority compared to the main groups

Who support Russia over the US military?

I don't see trump winning either wisconsin or pennsylvania again.

Who support Russia over the US military?

Trump. He has little to no respect for the US military as shown by his multiple comments about it. The latest was his treatment of the US military personnel attacked by the Iranians. Let's not forget that the DNI report on Russian interference included all of the military intelligence services.

Since Trump is a lying draft-dodging coward, is it really that unusual that he's both jealous of and hates the US military just like his buddy, Bill Clinton?

You think they'll vote for Biden or Bernie?

After the debacle of republican governor scott walker in wisconsin and the once in a lifetime of pennsylvania going red, I just don't see those two states voting for trump again.

I'm hoping the dems got the message from last presidential election where people just couldn't vote for hillary and get out and support whoever the nomination is. If that happens trump will be defeated.

Anything is possible but 270towin.com has them as tossup states. Once the conventions are over, it may solidify one way or another.

Show me where Trump has disrespect the military?
Here's one. FWIW, I'm not going to be baited into gish-galloping. If you were a vet, you'd know what I was talking about.

Advocates demand apology from Trump for troop concussion comments
Veterans advocates, lawmakers and the father of a SEAL who took his own life are criticizing President Donald Trump after his dismissal of concussion injuries to U.S. troops from an Iranian rocket attack as “not very serious,” saying his comments could discourage service members from reporting their medical problems.

“Traumatic brain injury is a serious injury and one that cannot be taken lightly,” Veterans of Foreign Wars National Commander William Schmitz said in a statement over the weekend. “TBI is known to cause depression, memory loss, severe headaches, dizziness and fatigue — all injuries that come with both short- and long-term effects.

“The VFW expects an apology from the president to our service men and women for his misguided remarks.”

Last Wednesday, during a press conference at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, Trump confirmed reports that several U.S. troops were injured in a Jan. 8 rocket attack launched by Iran on an American military site in Iraq. The assault was a response to the U.S. drone strike earlier in the month which killed Qassim Soleimani, the head of Iran's elite Quds Force.

I have a SiL with PTSD and two other Vet children but, this seems to be nit-picking on your part. I'm sure military officials at the time told Trump the injuries weren't serious. [in avoidance of letting Iran get the upper hand or starting yet another war]
Other than that, I doubt anyone has done more to support our troops than Trump including personally showing up for the arrival of the deceased.

Expected. The fact you pleaded ignorance of Trump's multiple anti-military comments and are now protecting his comments, despite the fact he never corrected himself, proves that, no matter what I post, you'll defend Trump.

If a vet says "I'd prefer Trump over Hillary", I agree with them. If they defend Trump, no matter what negative things he says about the active military, vets, KIAs, MIAs or anything else, then they are turning their backs on their brothers and sisters who have served or are serving in our nation's armed forces.

You were the one who came up with the lame excuse for hating the POTUS.

As far as McQueeg, he deserved the comments.

First a lie about me, since I don't hate and nothing in my post claims I hate. Second, you name-call an anti-vet and ridicule an American hero. You can disagree with his politics but to stand with a draft-dodging coward against a military veteran is Sad.

Could have fooled me. Same rhetoric I hear about Trump all the time.

Notice you didn't include Obama.

Kondik at Uva did a story on how a Bernie candidacy affects the race. The OP used his map. The Sanders Tax – Sabato's Crystal Ball

It seems reasonable. I'd give Trump v Sanders a 50/50.
This is Bernie's upside, if everything falls his way.

People have a short memory. Pandemic and stock market crash in the spring is at least 30 political scandals away for this guy.
People will remember the fake pandemic, because it's fake. Meanwhile, it's covering the stockmarket correction, so that's good for Trump.

More accurately, Trump has been critical of the use of the military. He's as anti-war as anyone in Washington. It was always hilarious when the haters said he would get us in a war with [flavor of the month].

I worked closely with military for 20 years and have been in combat zones. There is no question the rank and file military have respect for Trump. They understand that he will have good reasons when he puts any personnel at risk. I cannot speak for command ranks, but Trump seems to listen to his military advisers.

I can't imagine that people are dumb enough to vote for a 78 year old socialist/communist who will be a lame duck President. The TDS pandemic is what we should all be worried about.

What is your "Final Solution" for this "TDS pandemic"?

You're a year out of date. Trump's favorability soared with both Generals Kelly and Mattis on his staff. Not so much since they left.

Trump has a long record of crapping on the military. Remember how he dissed the Gold Star families in favor of putting the limelight on himself? His comments about knowing more than the Generals? He's antics screaming at his military advisers?

I prescribe four more years of doing nothing but snark at the President. Very relaxing, while the other party gets things done.

That may be true of command staff. I don't have as much contact at that level. The senior NCOs I know are still fine with him.

I prescribe four more years of Trumpeteers having their heads so far up Trump's nether regions that they are blind to anything else.

How are those "senior NCOs" about Trump attacking Gold Star families? Trump's lying to avoid the draft? His famous claim that avoiding STDs was his personal Vietnam? What is their feeling about Trump's claim that POWs are not heroes? Are you saying they are all fine with that just like you?
