So, Bernie is being helped by the Russians, supposedly with the end game of making it easier for Trump to win re-election. Does Russia know what they are doing?

Russia isn't "backing" Bernie. :roll:

Russia wants people such as yourself to believe they are "backing" Bernie. It seems to be working well with people like you. I'd say Russia knows what it is doing.

The FBI told Bernie in secret that the Russians are supporting his campaign. Somehow that information leaked.
 
Conventional wisdom would tell you that someone as far to the left as Bernie is can't win the general election. However, conventional wisdom would have also told you that no way could a despicable human being like Donald Trump win the presidency, yet he did. Thus who knows. Bernie could be the weakest candidate to go against Trump, but he could also be the strongest.

When exactly is it that you all and Trump trust the FBI and when it is that y'all don't trust the FBI?

Further, you might want to spend a good bit of your spare time reading up on propaganda, smoke and mirrors and all that.
 
Russia wins either way, from a foreign policy perspective.

Donald Trump is unctuous towards Russia and dictatorships that Russia likes (except Iran), and is dismissive of NATO.

Bernie Sanders is very solicitous towards regimes allied with Russia, and is dovish on NATO, wanting Russia to join it. It is right up there with encouraging the fox to join in on securing your hen house.

Moscow believes Sanders would be Trumps easiest opponent.

It is not mutually exclusive. If Donald Trump wins, Moscow still has someone who is extremely easy on the Russians in the White House. If not, and Bernie Sanders won the presidency, and based on all his past positions, do you believe he would want to project the strength to pose a great threat to the Putin regime and its global allies?
 
My guess? The Russians know that Sanders against Trump, an avowed progressive democratic socialist against a populist nationalist, is the more surefire way to increase hyper-partisanship, widen the ideological divide within America and further unsettle our domestic affairs.

Putin does not care who is president only that they are ineffective. Putin found that division and hate easily disrupt our government and the people are easily divided. When full of hate people cannot compromise and work together even for the common good. The comment of cutting off your nose to spite your face describes the democrats continual attacks. Putin saw easily his attack on Hillary did just that. His simple pay back for her attacking him during his election has disrupted our government for 4 years. When he finds a weakness Putin exploits it. I assume he has been laughing his backside off at how easily we are manipulated

The "Russia for Bernie" black op is to get people to vote for Trump.

My point exactly, the hypocrisy of the left. They scream Russian collusion for three years with Trump and when Russia backs Bernie, the left deny it.

Easy answer, it's the one trump is going to use, bernie is a socialist. So we now have communists supporting socialists. What a crazy world we live in. No wonder the right supports this fascist president.

So, you're voting that Sanders is the weakest candidate against Trump and Russia knows what they're doing? Why not stand up and fight man!!! Fight for the other candidates who are getting axed due to Russian interference to make Bernie the nominee.

Who has denied it. Bernie himself denounced and condemned it. When is Trump going to do that?

When informed about Russia backing him, Bernie declared that if he became president he would not let Russia do that. Of course he's waiting for Russia's help to make him president first before he actually does something and he has not detailed exactly what it is he would do to stop Russia. Meanwhile, he accepts the votes Russia is helping him with, declares he wants socialism, praises Castro, and talks about cutting defense spending to pay for his social programs.

And, it should be further pointed out, neither Donald Trump nor Bernie Sanders have a gut-level animosity towards the Russian state. I am sure Russia believes that either Trump or Sanders could be drawn into negotiating a mutual understanding in which they are allowed to maintain control over the disputed ethnic Russian-dominated territories.
