Super delegates give candidacy to Biden. Riot?

Say Bernie gets the majority of delegates and the majority of votes but it's less than the required amount or 1991 delegates.

The super delegates get to vote then and they all throw in with Biden, Biden wins the primary and Bernie is out.

Will there be a riot?



(It's not as crazy as it sounds, there was a riot over the same situation back in the 60's)
 
The super delegates only vote on the second ballot. We are not going there.

To make it happen, Biden needed to hang together about a month longer than he did.

Bernie will be made VP as part of the deal. I, however, think the superdelegates will warm to Bloomberg over Biden.
 
Isn't in touching how concerned all these Trumpists are about the Democratic primary?

I don't know about a riot, but it would almost certainly cost the Dems the election; doubly so if Bloomberg is handed the nom.

I don’t know about a riot (even though some of his supporters have suggested it). I wonder how many of them will vote republican.

Biden is not getting a candidacy because of super delegates. Let's see if he survives SC.

Apparently you don’t know what ‘majority’ means, which would be more than 50% of ... wait for it, 1,990 of 3,979.

You must be thinking of your republican POtuS who is the ultimate plurality and minority candidate.

It is rather funny that many lefties who support Bernie talk about Trump supporters rioting or using violence if Trump doesn't win in 2020 and yet many Bernie supporters would do the very same thing under your scenario. Personally, I hope it happens because Bernie has no business running in the Democratic primary if he himself says he's not a Democrat. The Democratic party has it's rules and under it's rules, your scenario could play out and it would not be "robbing" anybody of anything because it is a Democratic primary and convention and only a Democrat should be the nominee. If he wants to run as a Democratic socialist then he shold run on the ticket of that party.
