Only for those who are absolutely voting Democrat in this next election --- how happy would you be with Bernie as the nominee?

Like a room without a roof........:2dancing:

I'll take any functioning adult vs Trump, but I'd be ecstatic about having someone as honest, consistent and morally responsible as Bernie.

Not happy at all.

i probably agree with his positions more than i do with most of the rest of the field. however, my top issue is win. if he has the best chance to beat the impeached cult leader, then that's who i'll vote for.

To me, he's second to Warren. I will say this, though. His followers are too rabid for me. They scare me a lot more than Bernie.

Very happy, but he's my 1st choice, so that's not exactly surprising coming from me.

If he sticks with the rallies and avoids sit down interviews like the plague we might have a chance.

Why don't you tell us specifically what "rabid" behavior you're seeing scares you so much. Be specific. Demanding affordable, universal healthcare like the rest of the modern world has? The horror!

Say what you want about Bernie supporters, they're not running around with tiki torches spewing nazi slogans.

I would be very happy if I think he can beat trump

Anyone but trump

We do have ham-eating rituals on Fridays, though.

Not my first pick. The thought of two guys approaching 80 yrs old running for president is depressing.

But like many people we are tired of Trump's schtick and will vote for whoever opposes him.

Whoever the Dems nominate I will vote for.

I will vote for a ham sandwich if that is who the dems nominate

If Benie is the nominee, I'll vote for Trump.

I concur...….only if spread with French Classic Yellow. No dijon, honey mustard, sweet and hot, or spicy brown. And enough French Classic Yellow that when you take that first bit you have a bit of yellow mustache.

Not elated.

But I'll vote for the Democrat candidate no matter who it is.

I'm cool with Bernie. He's progressive, like me. I would have no issue with him should he win the nomination. His followers on the other hand (and I speak in general here... I fully realize they are ALL not all like what I am about the describe).

It's the whole rabid Bernie or bust mentality that I cannot stand. For one, they are partly responsible for the current idiot in the WH. Warren, another fine progressive is now practically an outcast because she had the nerve to come clean about a discussion they had. I truly believe her, it's not something I think she would make up. And just because Bernie said that a woman won't win does not mean that he's misogynist because there is no doubt he's not. It's more of a reflection on the American people more than anything -- and I think he may be right, unfortunately.

So the "rabid" behavior you were talking about was them simply wanting Bernie and no one else? Don't for one second try to pretend Trump's election is Bernie's or Bernie supporters' fault. If Hillary had made him her VP she would've united the party and easily won the election. Instead she decided to pick some rando centrist that's just like her and tell the progressive wing to **** off. So really you didn't mean "rabid", you just meant too dedicated to Bernie at the ballot box. How "scary" that must be for you. Be sure to lock your doors at night.

Yes. Many voted for Donald just to spite that bitch, Hillary.

Fully 12 percent of people who voted for Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., in the 2016 Democratic presidential primaries voted for President Trump in the general election.

There is lots of blame to go around. But yeah, they are partly responsible -- as I previously said.

Damn stupid bitch! Good thing y'all showed her!

I think rabid is the best way to describe the Bernie or bust people. And no worries, Trump being re-elected is way more scarier than the Bernie cultists.

1 in 10? Lol, so you're using language to call Bernie supporters "rabid" and that you're "scared of them", because 1 in 10 eventually voted for Trump instead of Hillary? Jesus christ you are melodramatic and dishonest. By the way, I held my nose and voted for Hillary despite her telling progressives to go **** themselves. Her failure is hers and hers alone.

Did I say I was scared of them?

And yes, 1 in 10 voted for Trump. Just to spite her. Just to spite the Democrat party. Like you, I would have held my nose and voted for her too.

There is lots of blame to go around. The Russian propaganda. FOX News propaganda. Dumb as **** people. The Democratic Party. Hillary running a terrible campaign. ****ing attention hog Comey and his lame-assed press conference. Hillary being a woman. Bernie Bros voting for Trump. Other ****.

Yet she still won the popular vote.

So far I can't tell the difference between Sanders and Warren except he wants to let inmates vote in prison (which Congress would not allow to happen anyway).

It's a little too easy to compare them to trump supporters, because then anybody would look pretty good by comparison. I've gotten into a few wrestling matches with Bernie supporters on this forum, and they make me uncomfortable. Specifically, I'm really not that confident they wouldn't burn the whole house to the ground if Sanders doesn't get the nomination. Me? I like him, but you can bet that my ass is knocking on doors for whoever wins the nomination, even if that nominee ends up being Tulsi ****ing Gabbard, because first and foremost the important thing is to get Trump out of the White House. I'm not confident that Bernie supporters feel that way.

I'd be okay with it.
