This thread is for anyone who does NOT want Trump re-elected.

If you're an anybody but Trump person, or even more to the point, almost anybody but Trump I'd like to know which candidate left in the filed might push you towards voting for Trump.

Is there any Dem candidate left in the field today that scares you so much you'd rather vote for another four years of Trump?

So the poll is this:

If _________ wins the Dem nomination, I'll vote for Trump.

Obviously an explanation of why you think that way would be great.

If you plan on voting for Trump no matter what, try to restrain yourself from posting in this thread.

What about those of us who won't vote for either R or D?

i don't think that i can vote for Bloomberg if he successfully purchases the nomination. i don't see that as a likely scenario, though. either way, there is no chance that i will vote for Dumbbell McImpeachy.

Feel free to post just like this. Also, who will you vote for and why?

Who's running third party?

Honestly, I have no idea who is running third party so I don't know who I'll vote for.

What will you do if there's no third party candidate?

Not vote at all?

Write-in?

Why not? What's so scary about him?

Oh, I always vote. There are always third party candidates, so I'll probably just choose the libertarian one.

I will not vote for Trump in 2020, that I know. So while I may not vote for the Dem, I know I won't vote for him. Worst case scenario, I will write in Vermin Supreme or Henrik Lundqvist.

But at this point I think I'll vote for anyone on that list.

I am confused by this concern. You could say they are ALL purchasing the nomination, difference being, he uses his own money instead of other people's money. Is that not a plus? Is that not better than some candidates that use fundraisers and then could have conflicts of interest with the larger donors?

he's a billionaire nanny. what remains of my inner libertarian can take a lot of things, but not that. if the Democratic party wants to destroy itself, that's a great way to do it.

Likely I'll be voting Libertarian, as usual.

i'm not going to hold my nose that much. i did it last time, but a lot of people didn't, and that's why Democrats lost to a ****ing spray painted tv gameshow host. i wouldn't recommend doing it again. if he wants to help out the eventual nominee by buying anti-Tweety ads, that's fine. however, he burned a lot of us out with his nausea inducing nannyism, and that was his choice.

I'll vote for the Democrat candidate regardless of who wins the nomination.

I've never lived in NY, so I'm not aware of his idiosyncrasies.

I like his positions on some of the bigger issues, so I don't fear him.
Not like I fear another 4 years of Trump anyway.

I'd prefer it be anyone other than Biden or Sanders, but even with either of those two, I'll be voting Dem for the first time ever.

I've ALWAYS done that in the past.

Not this time.

Although, my state has always gone Dem so my vote means little to nothing, I can't in good conscience vote anything other than Dem for fear of another 4 years of Trump.

In order to get me to vote for Trump, it would have to take a person whose central platform was to start a nuclear war. And since I'm not aware of any candidate supporting global nuclear annihilation, I'll just have to vote for Trump's opponent.

Third party

Wasted vote unless otherwise you would have voted for trump

Unless otherwise you would

I remain perpetually confused by people who accept that Trump is a total disaster but will vote in such a way that helps his re-election.

Agreed. I don't like Trump, but like 2016, I've stopped voting for the lesser of two evils. It hasn't worked once in 40 years. Unless a party comes up with a candidate worth my vote, I'll vote a Third Party. Probably a straight Libertarian ticket like in 2018.

Let's not forget that November 2020 isn't just for President, but for Senators and Representatives plus a lot of State and local elections. Please vote.

I know.

Just stay home and jerk off.

Sorry, but I strongly disagree with your assertion that American voters must accept the Democratic candidate, regardless how unworthy, corrupt or inept, just because the Republican candidate is a douchebag. If you want Americans to vote Democratic, try running a candidate worthy of leading "We, the People", not just another douchebag.

I remain perpetually confused by people who accept that the only choices are R or D when they both suck monkey balls.
