which sums up best your opinion/view of "impeachment" so far?
 
My opinion is that this whole "trial not trial" is going exactly as Mitch McConnell said it would. But here's something else that republicans will discover in the coming months. They're going to find out that there's more Americans that care about this trial and wanted to see a fair one, they didn't get that and they're going to bring that judgement to the voting places next November.

In the meantime, there are 10 months before the 2020 election, plenty of time for Trump to impeach himself all over again and the chances of that happened will be multiplied ten-fold since he's going to feel even more empowered and bolder than he ever has before and he's going to do something else egregious and illegal and he'll go through this all over again before Nov. 2020.

Yes. Interestingly the Trumpublican Senate accuses the House of being in a rush but in reality it is the Senate that is rushing to end the impeachment:

1. Before Trump's State of the Union address.

2. Before more truth bombs come out regarding Trump.


The Democrats have been much better prepared than the GOP. In fact, the GOP's factual response has been trifling.

Also, I heart Rep. Val Demings. I love her passion. You can see it comes from her heart.
 
A guilty man doing everything possible, which is quite a lot when you are POTUS, to keep the truth from coming to light.

A bunch of scared senators going through the motions knowing, if they want to keep their phoney baloney jobs, they have to give the criminal a pass.

After all the republicans are allowing the Senate to listen to Schiff drone on for three days is not rushing into anything...its tiring and boring. I and the nation have heard nothing new and the Trump defense team which hasn't yet given any rebuttal is waiting in the wings to counter Schiff droning on which will take about 20 minutes probably on Saturday.
If you consider democrats better prepared you haven't been paying much attention...a lot of nodding head in the Senate on both sides of the aisle as well in most homes who have tuned in. There is a reason there's no cameras showing the Senators during Schiff's ranting and raving.

I think most reasonable Americans realize that what Trump did does not come close to satisfying a reason to impeach. Therefore everything that is going on now is a complete waste of time from a reasonable persons perspective. Obviously Democrats are taking this opportunity to go after Senators whom they hope will be replaced in the next election. For Democrats, this is their Super Bowl. Unfortunately for them, the number of people watching this nonsense is going down significantly each day. Watch how the numbers will go up when the most important part of this trial takes place. I'm referring to when the Trump team finally gets to tell their side of the story.
 
Taking too long. We need to fast forward to the day the demos lose and every committee in the House reopens their impeachment investigations. Nobody keeps it classy like the House dems.

So I'm presuming you also believe that the DNC servers are being hidden at Crowdstrike, in Ukraine, by one of their wealthy people?

That is the "favor though" trump asked Zelenakyy to look Into for him in the "perfect call".

I would love to hear the logic and reason and facts that make that other than crazy conspiracy nonsense.

What we need is the evidence and testimony trump is suppressing.

I can't wait to see how everybody acts after they see the document Roberts ordered produced for the senators to see.

The lady who says she read it says it's significant and there was nothing in it worthy of classification.

This may turn out to be a turning point. Roberts may not be finding the whole "your can't see any evidence!" coupled with "where's your evidence!" bit amusing.

I like many decided yesterday to give this abomination of a trial a cursory glance. After 2 minutes of
listening to Schiff that was it, I really believe I'd rather be waterboarded than viewing any more of
Schiff's odd takes! Jeez, even Murkowski the Alaskan senator the Dems were hoping to convince to
vote for new witnesses said she was offended by the accusations.

Three hours of Schiff yesterday, 180 minutes & it's my guess each minute Schiff transformed approximately
50 independents to Trump voters. That would be enough voters to turn New Hampshire RED. If they offer this
quack any more time on his soap box he could conceivably reshape the electoral map, making the whole map
as RED as the RED stripes on the American flag.

Why didn't the House subpoena those docs and people. The screwed up, it's not up to the Senate to save their ass. Don't re-elected them.

Its also not the Republican's job to run defense for trump. But they are.

They took an oath to be impartial, and they are openly violating it.

So there's that.
