It’s said that underneath every myth rests a truth. Although Warren has a track record for lying (to get her an advantage) there must be some truth (even if distorted) behind the accusation. IMO.

In light of Bernie's history, his demonstrable confidence in women as politicians and unassailable integrity, Warren is lying in my view, or at best knowingly misrepresenting Sanders' words which is deeply unfortunate; it also broke my heart to see her rebuff his handshake at the end of the debate.

Having said that though, my hope is that both candidates, and probably more importantly their supporters, can put the ugliness and enmity aside and resume their NAP in recognition of their true enemies within the party and without.

You're belittling an American hero, a woman and a racial minority, by employing her name as a pejorative for your enemy.

No one is pejoratively referred to as Washington or Jefferson because they're male and white. It would be considered an outrage. Calling someone Poshington would also be unacceptable.

You can't effectively employ a racist and sexist slur (in belittling the name of a hero) and claim, "but it's directed at a white person so it's fine." This isn't about white people.

I really don't know who is lying but Warren this entire campaign has been busted several times for lying.

Let's see if I can recall all of them.

1. She was found out to have lied about being "a woman of color" a "Native American" multiple times . That's how she got enrolled into Harvard Law. Then lied about not knowing she was listed as a "woman of color" when called out on it. She also lied about being an American Indian on her state bar form

2. She said her parents had to elope because mixed marriages were shunned. Another lie proved. She said “My father’s parents said absolutely not… you can’t marry her because she’s part Cherokee and part Delaware. After fighting as long as they could my parents went off, they eloped… It was an issue in my family the whole time I grew up.”

3. Then she lied about being fired as a teacher because she was visibly pregnant. She has told this story over and over again on the stump. But it's a lie. Someone found video of an interview she gave years ago when running for the senate and she told a completely different story. And there are no records of her being terminated. She quit!

4. Then she started going around claiming her dad was a janitor. Her own brother called her out on that one saying he was never a janitor.

5. Warren said "My children went to public schools," when a discussion came up about school choice . That turned out to be another lie. Warren's daughter attended public school but her son attended an expensive private school. A yearbook obtained by a journalist shows that her son, Alex Warren, attended Kirby Hall School, an elite K-12 school in Austin, Texas, in the mid-1980s. She has since backtracked that one.

She has earned the nickname Lieawatha
 
When it comes to lying Warren is second only to Obama. Neither has any qualms about making up their own facts. Warren is always trying to play the victim card.

On the other hand, people Sanders age often forget what they say.

This is nothing but a ploy by Warren trying to drum up female votes. She is not smart enough to know that other women look at more than gender when voting.

She lies as fast as a glued down rug. She does it so often, she forgets when she's lying to cover a previous lie. My money is on Pochy for lying about Bernie, who seems like an honest man. After all, anyone who couldn't waver when told that Venezuela is socialist must be telling the truth as he sees it in his warped little pea brain. My bet goes to Pochy and I'll lay 10 to 1

If it were genuine they would've just talked about it either during the initial conversation or at some point within the last year. The timing of all of this clearly points to a political motivation which is pretty screwed up.

Easy enough - Warren is a deceiver, who tries to be what she thinks people wants. Bernie is far too crazy to pull of something that nuanced, and is honestly, truly, bonkers.

If I had to stake my life on it? I would say that Elizabeth Warren is lying, and purposefully misconstruing the conversation that they had post hoc to her political advantage.
