Is there any chance you are just joking with all these silly posts, or do you believe what who are stating?
Having lived 11 years in Germany, four years in England, one year in Korea, one year in Viet Nam, as well as visited numerous other countries, and having met thousands of citizens in all those countries, I'm dead serious. When you have some life experience, you can use your anecdotal "facts".

I would be curious to know what the actual criteria and what weight each criteria was given to determine the "Quality of Life" list. I have spent a great deal of time in some of these countries and I would not say that I agree that their quality of life is better than the US. Take Germany, everything is expensive as heck. $7 a gallon for gas. Going out to eat is expensive. Homes are twice as expensive as the US. Traffic is terrible. People would strangle you for a parking place. They are taxed to death. More than half the people there can't afford to own a home. They make less money than the US. They do have a better education system. That is because they teach the basics and not social engineering as they do in the US. Unlike the US, their healthcare systems exclude foreigners and those without healthcare cards. The average German lives in an apartment and has little disposable income to do anything. I don't find that to be a quality life.

Even at that Germany is still much better than Australia or New Zealand. I doubt there are two more racist countries in the world.

How about Japan where life is so good they lead the world is suicides. Everyone lives in an 800 sq ft apartment that costs $2,500 bucks a month.

And Canada, where I live thousands of Canadians converge on us every winter. If Canada is so great why do all the ones with means come here?

Some of these other countries are smaller than a US city.

While some of the countries are fun to travel to. I have yet to see on I would like to live in. My idea of quality of life is affordable housing. I want a house with a real yard or a acreage. Cheap transportation. Cheap gas and a car that I don't have to pour my 6'4" body into. Low taxes. I want to keep most of the money I earn. Reasonable healthcare. Not having to wait months for a medical procedure. Low unemployment giving you the freedom to find a job you like and high income so you can afford the better things in life. I want clean air and fresh water too.

In case you "forgot" your own question, which was can someone name a rational reason to want to live outside the USA, you requested an anecdote. I am not surprised you need to resort to personal attacks to defend your rather ridiculous argument.

Sorry you got lost in the discussion. My position stands, and just who do you think was "personally attacked"?

Keep your head down, you act like a snowflake.

Take a hike. You tried to negate my post with the statement I should get back to you when I have life experience. I don't know who you think your are, but you need to practice more.

I know exactly who I am, and now you know a little more about me.

My advice to you: Take your own advice.

You've gone to great lengths to prove how little basis in reality your opinion has. The FACT is that there are many rational reasons why a person might choose to live in another very comfortable, civilized country other than the USA. And your posturing does not disprove that.

Actually, no, but you certainly have. I can only say in rebuttal, MOVE SOON.

See, there you go, failed rebuttal. You have no authority to tell me to move. Additionally, I've never stated that I would make that choice. I simply provided an answer to YOUR question for a rational reason why a person might want to live somewhere other than the USA. That answer has obviously caused you great discomfort.

Dooms day preppers tend to be rightwing. Denial of our countries history of slavery and black oppression seems to be a rightwing thing, too. Emotional firestorms that lead to the bombings and murders of planned parenthood doctors is rightwing thing, too. The rightwing doesn't whine about their own lives because they're too busy blaming and whining about the lives of the left. The rightwing and their dear leader play the victims like it was going out of style.

The left don't hate their lives...they just want to make lives better for everyone...not just a few. But we can't have nice things in this country because the right are too narrow minded, selfish and greedy and have no thought for future generations. They are willing to destroy the entire planet for their personal gratification today. Just like you, Joko.
I worry about these times precisely because i worry for others. So many in public office would round up my neighbor and ship them out of the country if they could (Steven Miller) that is unacceptable to me.
