Your message is a lie. I never said I don't care about my countrymen.

This may be far too complex a concept to you, but my children and I are Americans, ie "countrymen."

I wrote who I don't care for: Lazy asses, alcoholics, drug addicts, people who throw pity parties, blame others for their failures. I believe in freedom. You want nanny-state oppression at our expense.

Why do you think those "First World" countries you want the USA to copy in healthcare are so "xenophobic?" Maybe their "xenophobia" (a wrong word choice by you) is necessary to have what you otherwise want.

This seems the core political issue in elections. I like my life. I like the society my family and I live in. I am satisfied with our economic situation and safety situation. I don't have to worry of government PC or SJW police arresting any of us or trying to destroy our careers and life. The government does not make my healthcare decisions.

Why would I vote for the radical changes the Democratic Party wants? But, then, whenever I hear most Democrats talk, I am hearing malcontent whiners endlessly throwing pity parties for themselves or others - for which the point is always they either want something from other people or want to more control other people.

Endless dooms day paranoia, endless hatred of the USA's history - constantly in fear and fury, emotional firestorms. If they can't whine about their lives, they whine about other people's lives acting like they are victims of other people being victims - always desperate to be or create victims.

If you hate your life, vote for change. If you don't, vote for the status quo. Seems fairly simple. But, then ,I don't buy into the Democratic Party's claim that I have a duty to vote for the best interests of others - others who are to vote for their own self interests.
My life is not perfect, but its pretty ****ing awesome. That sense of a good life has nothing to do with my political beliefs however. Plenty of people have it worse than me and it is my duty to help shape a society in which they can succeed as well.

Re: Do you like your life or dislike your life?

I presently like and/or am/are content with my life at the moment. I have come across a potential opportunity in my life. That is all I will say so as to not jinx it. I've almost entirely stopped paying attention to American politics ignoring it for the most part. I think the "U"S is ****ed regardless of whether Trump wins or loses the 2020 election. Brexit seems almost even more grating to try to look at these days, and don't get me started on the Syria-Iran-Iraq MESS involving the Turks and Russia and US etc. It just seems like more and more jsut outright depressing stories consume ALL of the news lately and it hurts inside seeing politics infest nearly EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of social life everywhere. I may or may not make a bigger post about it later

I'm not a "Russiagater" but even to me that sounds like straight Kremlin talkpoints

Re: Do you like your life or dislike your life?

I went from a very poor street thug to middle class in this life.

Been jailed a few times in my younger days.

Learned 4 different trades/skills along with a Navy career.

Put in over 700,000 safe miles driving around all of the CONUS states, Mexico, and Canada as a Owner Operator until I got bored of it.

Been to 49 countries......played golf in 31 of them.

Hung out with loggers, Captains, crooks, doctors, lawyers, bricklayers, and wino's

My daughter graduated from Radford......and closing in on her Masters.

Taught my son how to run his own business.

A near do well sailor, golfer, and fisherman.

I have lived a very very good life!

When I officially retire this year, I plan on paying it forward by helping lower income families and the elderly with home repairs.

That'd be an even better read if you'd learned about paragraphs along the way.
