So unless he goes to synagogue twice a week, he's not a Jew? Being Jewish can refer to a person's religion, ethnicity, race, or identity. It defies your silly Christian understanding dontcha know.

Read the history Fled. Americans were ambivalent about Israel during the 50's, and most of the 60's. As demographics shift, so will attitudes about Israel. That's why GOP lawmakers are frantically writing as much legislation as possible to influence future generations, and punish the ones who disobey.

Jews did the same, even worse with Christianity. They got prayer thrown out of schools, Christian symbols removed from public, all while planting a nice big Star of David at the courthouse in Ohio's capitol a few years back.

Now, that article is pretty limited to white supremacists, but there are a small number of other minorities who have also engaged in this stupidity. And while Ilhan Omar says some stupid things from time to time...she isn't on the level of most whites who hate Jews. BTW, I am not saying she should get a pass, I'm just pointing out that she isn't violent like most.

But of course, nuance is not a character trait of the right, so I'm sure there will be Trumpians out there going "But...but...she said..."

No, that individual may qualify as the "Ingrate of the Year," but she does NOT qualify as the "Anti-Semite of the Year."

That disgraceful title goes to the hoodlums who have been terrorizing certain neighborhoods in New York City. Their victims are hard-working people who behave themselves.

Their attackers are a disgrace to our society and one of the reasons for the tension in present-day America.
 
While I'm not sure Ilhan should be the "Antisemite of the Year," she bears watching. Her statements are antisemitic but they're not as bad as many statements floating around out there. Of course, they're more relevant because she's a public personality and a lawmaker.

That's a fact!

The antisemitism in certain NYC neighborhoods has reached dangerous levels, but no one knows what to do about it -- other than pay lip service -- because it's a case of one minority attacking another minority, and no one wants to label members of a minority as being racist.

There are reasons (not excuses) behind the attacks and the Mayor needs to figure out a way to ease those problems.

First off ask any Orthodox Jew and they’ll tell you the same thing as me, secondly in what what is Bernie anything other then a white communist?

There were ethnic Jews who aided the Nazi regime. The fact Ilhan Omar endorses so old loser who is Jewish purely by birth does not excuse her of basically advocating anti-Semitic genocide as she has done.

If you’re a secular communist who is outwardly white, and advocate ethnically cleansing jews from the worlds only Jewish state, then you’re not Semitic enough to avoid anti-semitism
Claims. The majority of American jews still call themselves Jewish just so they can wave the Holocaust card and claim they’re victims anyway. (True story) it’s about wanting victim status. Bernie doesn’t even do that. He calls himself a Jew only when he’s advocating destruction of Israel.

If you ask any Orthodox Jew if Bernie Sanders is Jewish, they will say yes. His mother was a Jew, therefore he is a Jew.
