1) He's not in office.
2) He at least waited till the second half of his second term to usurp Congress and ignore the law so as to protect illegals through DACA and DAPA.
3) He didn't fully cripple recovery, choosing only to maim the recovery.
4) He only used the word "I" 698 times a week, rather than 700 times a week.
5) He finally stopped delaying the attack on Bin Laden, and let the team do its job.
 
When he spoke, he didn't sound like an entitled, undereducated, inbred hick.

I don't see what is good about him waiting till 2nd term to do DACA... so blatantly political

yes, I have made up my mind. Best thing: out of office

I did like the deportations though... surprised to find out about that

but he was a sorta Muslim (except he was in favor of baby killing, which most Muslims are not) and against Christians...

so much for well-educated and open minded.. so much for "inclusion" that the libs always spout off about

I was being sarcastic, claiming that delaying a bad act (DACA/DAPA) is better than doing something bad earlier. As for "the deportations", if you are referring to the long ago discredited claim that Obama was more aggressive in doing so than Bush...well, that's wrong.

He didn't have half his inner circle convicted of a crime. He didn't declare bankruptcy 7 times. His inauguration crowd was bigger then the orange scumbag's. I don't believe he tried to pay off his porn star mistress and then lie about it while trying to cover it up.
 
He only talked down to you when it was at your face.

Just don't turn your back on him though, cause he'd probably drone strike your ass.

I think he did a really good job in sheltering his children from the bad things about being the children of a controversial president. I think he was probably a good father. I think he is one of the more intelligent presidents we have had and was a good speaker.
 
I think his administration did a lot of shady things. Like with Bush though, I don't think either set those shady things in motion as neither were the underlying objective maker of their administrations with more active players behind the scenes. They were both however in my opinion forces for good within their adminstrations. I continue to see him as a thoughtful, intelligent, well spoken and good hearted president. I think he did good for this country and could have done a lot more in better circumstances. Having faced against McCain & Romney, I also think despite many very negative events and developments during his tenure that he was likely the best president for the time. His biggest mistake was in embracing the 'social justice' element. They were a key part of the collation that brought him to power, so I understand the soft spot, but certainly the undoing of what I think could have been a more impactful legacy. As is, I foresee he will go down quite-neurally, overshadowed by the events to come with a widening moral divide and thus the cultural wars.
 
The OP asked for views of Conservatives. I guess that would be me if I had to choose a label. The OP asked for some good things about President Obama. When it comes to his ideology and the issues he pushed I can find no good thing to comment on. As a person in general, he seems to be a good family man.
 
He ended "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" for the U.S. Military allowing LGBT persons to openly serve in the armed forces without having to hide their identity in order to avoid dishonorable discharge.
 
He caused the oceans to recede just by being elected.

He deported a lot of illegals.
His administration prosecuted a lot of leakers, and named a journo as a co-conspirator of a leaker.
He signed a deal with Iran.
He wasn't completely insane (like liberals today are).

And most importantly, he's gone.
