Would they have to change the National Anthem?

Here is the beginning:

Sinne Fianna Fáil,
atá faoi gheall ag Éirinn,
Buíon dár slua
thar toinn do ráinig chugainn,
Faoi mhóid bheith saor
Seantír ár sinsear feasta,
Ní fhágfar faoin tíorán ná faoin tráill.

Soldiers are we,
whose lives are pledged to Ireland,
Some have come
from a land beyond the wave,
Sworn to be free,
no more our ancient sireland,
Shall shelter the despot or the slave.

A Nation once again,
A Nation once again,
And lreland, long a province, be
A Nation once again!

Songtext von The Dubliners - A Nation Once Again Lyrics

Once I have heard this song on-stage - performed by a song group from Ireland.
They were singing that song with real feeling - and it nearly moved me to tears.

There was always conflict: Viva La Quinta Brigada Lyrics by Christy Moore
Check it out on You Tube Moore is a guy who sings that song with real feeling

Christy Moore - Viva la Quinta Brigada. Live at Barrowland .

They came to stand beside the Spanish people
To try and stem the rising fascist tide
Franco's allies were the powerful and wealthy
Frank Ryan's men came from the other side

Bob Hilliard was a Church of Ireland pastor
Form Killarney across the Pyrenees he came
From Derry came a brave young Christian Brother
Side by side they fought and died in Spain

Then again:
Many Irishmen heard the call of Franco
Joined Hitler and Mussolini too
Propaganda from the pulpit and newspapers
Helped O'Duffy to enlist his crew

The word came from Maynooth, "support the Nazis"
The men of cloth failed again
When the Bishops blessed the Blueshirts in Dun Laoghaire
As they sailed beneath the swastika to Spain

The population of England is around 55 million. The population of the UK is around 66 million.

Currently the UK accounts for 0.87% of the world's population.

England is about to get smaller and have less power.

The matter is decided; the people of North Ireland can vote on this in the near future. The territory carved out of Ireland to be a Protestant sectarian province has become almost 50/50 Protestant/Nationalist. It will be good for the people of the whole island to be together once again. Both traditions will need to compromise.

Are you for or against a re-united Ireland?

I support the Good Friday Agreement and Ireland's 19th Amendment, which, as I understand it, requires popular referendums in both Ireland and Northern Ireland if N.I. were to rejoin Ireland.

I don't know.
But I do know that I care more about what the people of Ireland and North Ireland have to say about the matter, than some nationalistically inspired lines on a map.
