So... seeing as “nobody is above the law”... shouldn’t the New Democrat Soviets of America Partei (NSDAP) start writing legislation for their immediate deportation?

It is obviously false that nobody is above the law.

First, in every country there are some untouchables. In our country, for example, Ms. Hillary is above the law. Americans, even many Republicans, would not tolerate her being arrested and forced to do the perp walk. In England, I doubt that many people want to see Prince Andrew further humiliated.

Second, there is nothing sacred about "the law." The law is often an ass, as someone once said many years ago. The fact that laws are always changing is proof.

Third, if no one were actually above the law, then some members of Congress would be in prison right now.
