Since the question was brought up today, what do you all say?

Since the question was brought up today, what do you all say?

I don't have the energy at my time of life to hate anyone.

"I can't believe that you asked such a question! My Catholic faith precludes me from hating anyone and I find the insinuation to be disgusting. I actually pray for Trump just like I'll pray for you!!"

Or something like that.

Have none of these people learned that sometimes it's better to just keep your mouth shut?

I love Donald Trump. Our country is safer now than it was before he became president.

I hate what he represents, he is everything wrong with modern conservatism and what’s wrong with modern politics.

A shallow blowhard fool who doesn’t know his head from his arse and who’s regressive supporters cheer on his every moment of buffoonery as he makes a mockery of himself, the office he currently occupies and the nation.

Do I hate the man?

I don’t know him personally, but he doesn’t strike me as a good person, he strikes me as a selfish narcissist who doesn’t seem to have much consideration for others.

But that’s only my observation, it doesn’t seem like it’d be very hard to hate him if you knew him, how many former officials come out singing his praises full pelt like he was actually a great President?

You’re preaching restraint?.........:screwy

I detest his domestic/foreign policies, lament what he is doing to our Constitution, and believe he has some serious personality disorders, but no, I don't hate Donald Trump.

Trump is a disgusting piece of trash

I fail to see how someone can take a look at his Atlantic City adventures, and come away thinking he is a good person, or deserves anything except to be shunned in polite society.

He is the unapologetic embodiment of a lot of things we do wrong as a culture.

But to actually hate him is a whole different thing.

I don't hate easily. I can't think of five people that I hate.

But I hate Trump.

I hate his policies and suspect he is either senile or emotionally handicapped making him unfit for office and a danger to the country, but I do not hate him.

Anyway, I despise the vile pig bastard.

"Hate".... hate would have to be a lot more personal. It's a big word, y'know.

Yeah ... there could be a better word than "hate" for the revulsion I feel toward Trump ... but he's not worth parsing it. "Hate" will do.

Loathe is under-used........

No, I do not hate him. I feel indifferent towards him.

To answer my own question, he makes me feel.....

When I look up hate it says "a passionate dislike of someone/something". If that's the case, then yes. If you mean hate as in "do you sit there and dwell on how much you despise this person day in and day out" then no. I'm amazed that any american doesn't "passionately dislike him" after he has trashed our country and military so thoroughly.

I hate that the country elected a crook who acts like a teen.

I feel very sorry for Trump. I don't think that I have ever seen a more unhappy person - so chronically insecure to that he has everything could want, yet is so empty inside. I feel bad for his supporters who are conned into believing that he can take them back to a world that no longer exists, and I grieve for my country, which will need a generation to recover from his abject cruelty, incompetence.

Plus, his mental health seems to be sliding. His growing penchant for pushing conspiracy theories is troubling.

nope not at all, i dont personally know him and he hasnt done enough to make me hate him . . hate is a strong thing

my feelings on him are simple

In general:
he isnt a good person and he is a vile human being. Ive felt that way about hi for decades based on his actions and words.

politically:
he is everything that is wrong with politics. Just another monumentally dishonest, extremely biased and partisan person . . another me first and money first person and NOT "the people first" and the constitution first person. ANd in many ways he is the worst of these things. He is the same problem in a different bag.

but yet . . still no "hate" for the guy, there maybe like 1 person i personally hate on the planet

That's how he made me feel before he was elected.

Things went downhill afterward.

James Rosen triggered Pelosi. :lamo You remember James Rosen, he was one of several journalists the Obama administration spied on.
