Trump abused nothing, and Turley went through this... nuking their case.

But hey... the process has been a model of fairness.

    It’s been based on hearsay.

The chief witness colluded with the Impeachment Tzar.

    They had secret hearings.

    Not all transcripts were released.

    Remnants of the USSR.

And the President released the transcript... illustrating nothing illegal.

Oh well... it seems Democrats like to build the foundations for a 3rd World ****hole... and as quickly as possible too.
My point was that Harry was a speech writer not a personal attorney for the president. Yes he was doing foreign relations and war planning but his loyalty was to the presidency and country not the individual serving as president. Different set of priorities and concerns.

The cons couldn't even call a witness that would back up their made up claims. Its 5 deferment cadet fake bone spurs that loves the USSR and seems to want to please Putin at every turn. Talk about a slimeball.

Parliamentary Oversight of the Executive Branch

    II. Oversight Processes

Congressional oversight of the executive branch has existed since the earliest days of the United States Congress.[3] Major processes related to congressional oversight include the investigative, impeachment, confirmation, appropriations, authorization, and budget processes.

    A. Investigative Process

The Supreme Court has held that the power to investigate is implied in the Constitution’s vesting of legislative powers in Congress.[4] In furtherance of these powers, Congress may compel the disclosure of documents or require the attendance and testimony of witnesses at hearings through the issuance of subpoenas.[5] Failure to comply with a valid subpoena or the provision of false statements to Congress may result in criminal liability.[6] Investigatory hearings and reports published in conjunction with such hearings may receive extensive media attention and result in resignations, firings, or impeachment proceedings.[7]

Nixon cooperated by turning over all his documents except for his tapes and eventually he turned those over to Congress also. Trump has defied the legal and legitimate right according to the Constitution by refusing any and all documents to be released and to prohibit people from testifying and ordering them to break the law and defy their subpoenas. 98% of the documents requested has been refused by Trump to be turned over to Congress despite subpoenas. 98%!
    Nixon went to court.

It’s where such disputes are resolved.

Pelosi doesn’t want to go to court. Why?

    What’s the rush?

Because they have enough to impeach today, she didn't want to wait until the courts got around to ordering witnesses to testify or for the WH to produce documents. Those rulings would be contested anyway just as the SDNY ruling regarding Trump's tax returns have been held up in several federal courts to date and now his lawyers are appealing to the Supreme Court. These judgements can take years, and Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats feel that Trump is such an imminent danger to this country that they're proceeding on the evidence they have.

Considering FDR left Truman in the dark, Harry didn’t seem too helpful to the nation.

Trump is looking into corruption from the 2016 election. It too is in our national interest. Should we not learn about Ukraine influence and corruption there related to our election? Of course we should. Why so shy?

ROTFLOL... the Democrats have been felching Soviets for decades. They’ve been Soviet defenders and wannabe Soviets for as long as I’ve been alive, and decades before that. What was that “overcharge” button... errrr reset button Hillary trotted out with Lavrov? Was it a felching time reset? Yes it was.

Trump has smacked Putin 50-times harder than Obama... who wanted Vladimir to know “he will have more flexibility after next election.”

Trump armed the Ukrainians... Obama sent socks and blankets... white blankets to boot... so they could surrender faster.

    They have nothing.

If they had something they wouldn’t have performed a Soviet styled railroad process and rushed it to the finish line.

They would have let the R’s and Trump mount a rigorous defense... so they could show Trump has no case.

They did nothing remotely if the sort.. because Democrats have no case.

But hey... you want a 3rd World ****hole country, your party is delivering it.

Enjoy. Soon it’ll be the ****hole known as SF politically.

What next... instead of political necklacing... the real thing next time so it’s even faster?
