On that I agree. The right should split into a Conservative Party and a Centrist party. The left could split into a Progressive Party and some could join the others in the Centrist Party. Then let all the parties actually have a chance at being seated. I think it would be good for us to have more then two voices in power all the time.

I would agree with that, it is my belief that ome of these so called moderates talk the talk but do not walk the walk.:peace

but again, you can't appreciate or enjoy or benefit from such

if you are not HERE--weren't allowed to live

You're kinda running under the assumption that everyone would be aborted when obviously that's not the case. Like I said, the economy affects everyone.

Whether Independent candidate or Independent voter both vote do they not?
Independent candidate are not welcome to debate major issues with either party now.
Someday that will change.
Too long have the American voter has been taken for granted by Republicans and Democrats.
Too long have the American voter not actually had a best candidate to vote for but merely the lesser of 2 evils , while one goes too far to the right the other goes too far left.
While one party coddles the rich while the other babies the poor .
Somewhere in the middle are the elderly who worked hard all their life. the vets who fought for this country and the middle class all are on a stagnant wage while the cost of living inches up:peace:

I already laid out what is required above in Post #39.

If you're a third party candidate, you are going to need a lot of down ticket support, senators, representatives, state lawmakers, city councilmen, judges, mayors, governors, etc.

It is GENERATIONAL WORK.
The Green Party USA behaves like children who hibernate and only come out six months before every election, expecting to start AT the TOP.
Same with all the other third parties in this country.

The Green Party EU on the other hand, has been knocking on doors and speaking to people for twenty years, and now they finally have representation in parliament houses all over EU.

That is what it takes, otherwise, do NOT expect that "someday it will change" because it will not change without people doing that much work.

WRONG

The Left do virtually nothing 4 the poor. Keeping them dependent on govt is NOT helping them at all. It is keeping them down.. keeping them on the Dem plantation. And they know they are doing this, they just do not care. They don't care about the poor anymore than they care about the unborn children

I am beginning to think there is so much collusion btwn the 2 parties, there basically is only ONE party these days.. But I am surprised I saythat because... I don't know.. The Rs really are better and yet... some issues just never get addressed by either party

There are many issues people are concerned about. But which should be Number One priority?

If you believe that someone has the right not to be murdered, regardless of their age, then that has to be the first priority.

I will say this that both Republicans and Democrats have come short of caring for the progress of America and the American people all American people

What has the Republicans 's done for the poor, budget cuts on Vets, elderly, poor, medicare, medicaid, and food stamps back the outsourcing of jobs , support the rich What has the Republicans done for the poor in America???

As for the Democrats they go from one extreme to the other first they were too weak and ask for nothing now they are too aggressive and ask for too much.:peace

Sir, not to be disrespectful but it seems like I've heard that phrase "it will not change" before .
America's record of things that will not change paints a different rather dim view of things or policies that will NOT change.
A short list,
America will always be ruled by England changed
America will always have slaves changed
Too old?
How about these,
America will always be rich Oct 29th 1929, changed.
America will never recover from this depression, changed
America will always be segregated, changed.
America will never send a man to the moon ,Changed
THERE ARE MANY MORE.

So if you post something that says "it will not change" , I have to question that,. If your sentence had been more of a declarative sentence, something like most likely won't change or , the odds are against it changing, maybe but you said "it will not change" more Imperative than declarative like somehow you personally know this can never change.

I have lived a long time, some advice for you, change is inevitable in the world today people change, policies change. This is a changing world.
Now people can either embrace the change or deny it that won't top it from coming.:peace

That's an inalienable right addressed in the Declaration of Independence. Where do you see the Feds running around killing citizens?

something like 65 million killed by abortion since it was le galized

If you believe that someone has the right not to be murdered, regardless of their age, then that has to be the first priority.

thank you

the liberals will not agree w/ this simple truth

which is why we have to fight liberalism tooth and nail -- until it is gone

the poor do not need food stamps, except that they kind of do THE WAY THE SYSTEM IS NOW

the poor do not need 'more health care' (ditto)

the poor need stability and a job but no company HAS TO hire anyone, so some don't get hired

some people have problems (that cannot be hidden from a prospective employer... "the new Black" you could say ) And I could say more but whatever...

There is nothing that requires liberalism to support abortion. I agree, infanticide needs to be stamped out, but I doubt it will take Liberalism with it.

If things stay the same of course you can not expect change but the odds of change are higher than the odds of staying the same . History proves that time and again.:peace

The first word in your post was WRONG.

If you had bothered checking my post you would know that I have stated more than once it is my opinion that both Republicans and Democrats have let down America and the American people.

As far as the difference in regard to the poor, I agree with what the Democrats do "keeping them dependent on govt. is not helping them at all "
Your words are they not?

However when it comes to the rich tax cuts , research grants, bailout money, subsidies it seems like the Republicans are"Keeping them dependent on govt is not helping them at all"

Both of these comes from taxpayer money do they not?:peace

“If they would rather die, they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population.”

“If I could work my will, every idiot who goes about with ‘Merry Christmas’ on his lips should be boiled with his own pudding and buried with a stake of holly through his heart. He should!”

“A poor excuse for picking a man’s pocket every twenty-fifth of December!”

that means nothing.

I was looking for substance... sigh

the tax cuts were NOT just for the rich. There is so much misinformation

And I never said that the Rs were much better than Ds vis a vis growing the govt. It seems both are guilty, and then some complain when people depend on said bloated govt... so basically the govt is making people dependent, then punishing them for being so (w/ poverty... with not doing anything that will REALLY help them...).

This country is not what it should be/could be... used to be... but then again, maybe it never was because... 2 words: human nature. Those 2 words.. well, the Bible says it best "All have sinned and fallen short..." ALL... R, D, I... those who don't vote.. etc... ALL

and a huge number of those "all" want to keep the status quo

Depends on what you consider the status quo is. or as grown to be.

America has always wanted progress through hard work and saving .
Even in the past the cost of living has never been equal to the wages of the average worker.
The old sayings of the past 'the more you make the more they take" or" the rich get richer the poor still struggles"were very often too true, but the workers kept working didn't look up.
However, after the outsourcing, after the tax cuts went to the rich , the research grants went to the rich , after the comment by the R'S "as you say"to the average and poor "pull yourself up by your own bootstrings" one day and the rich corporations ask for and get 740 million the next well the poor , the working poor and lower middle class started looking up many did not like what was happening.

After all getting a million dollar loan and not hiring American workers but actually letting many go and asking for your yearly tax cut while giving the person responsible for your companies financial problems a bonus well??

Not only the workers are looking hard at these millionaires and billionaires others have too the young people in or coming out of College, the millennials the elderly, the vets.

Also there is this free market a double edge sword in my book , While Chrysler is selling out to Fiat, GMC is leaving Ohio again Honda, and Toyota manufacturing is moving in and so are their car lots and sales.
Walmart hit the forbes top 10 list again this year. Imports vs exports anytime you run the numbers check on America's car sales , retail sales compared to foreign sales.
I have but one question the money saved by outsourcing jobs by corporations IS IT WORTH IT?
The old adage " Be Patriotic buy American' kinda left with the jobs.
One other thing corporations have overlooked Corporations say "it is not the responsibility of a Corporation to hire American labor" THIS IS TRUE.
However, since this is America , American people which are consumers say "it is not the responsibility to buy American products made overseas" THIS IS TRUE.:peace

There are many issues people are concerned about. But which should be Number One priority?

Getting rid of Trump and his ilk is first and foremost.
