Possible 2024 POTUS Showdown - AOC vs Kanye

So believe it or not, it's actually possible that in the 2024 POTUS election we could see AOC (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) vs Kanye West.

Although his name might be radically different by the time 2024 rolls around. :roll:

Should that actually become a reality, I'm curious who you'd vote for.

Not voting, alternate party voting, and write-in voting may be a statement of principle but they’re throwing away a vote. Fleeing the country is attractive but not practical. I assume you mean AOC as Democrat nominee and Kanye as Republican. If so, I'd mark my ballot for AOC but I would be voting against Kanye, who is an entitled, narcissistic, and just plain bat**** crazy asshole like our current POTUS. IOW, pretty much of a repeat of 2016 when I marked my ballot for Hillary, the less bad of two bad candidates, but voted against Trump.

I mean...almost everything is possible, but some things are more likely than others.

Edit: Also, I chose "Other" And my explanation is "This poll is ridiculous."

I would have zero problem voting for AOC against any serious politician, much less Kanye West.

Modern history shows, beginning with FDR we had 5 Governors, 5 vice presidents, 2 senators, 1 general and 1 businessman/TV reality Show Host. I'm going by the last elective office held. FDR governor, Truman, VP, IKE general, JFK senator, LBJ VP, Nixon VP, Ford VP, Carter Governor, Reagan governor, G.H.W. Bush VP, Bill Clinton Governor, G.W. Bush governor, Obama senator, Trump businessman, TV reality show host.

Notice the total lack of a congressman/woman from the list. Only two president in modern history, Eisenhower who was a general and Trump never were a governor, senator or Vice President. so the odds on an AOC becoming a nominee are very long. West, I highly doubt that at any time soon we go with someone who hadn't had any political experience at all.

To answer your question, I'd vote third party.

If either got the nomination for president of any major party, it is time to reconsider if this is a country I want to live in. The country would have changed all out of recognition of the country I love.

If Kanye West were the GOP nominee, I would vote for him.

To be fair, for most reasonably intelligent folks the Clinton/Trump polls made them angry as well.
