Kurdish social media spread information that Turks and their jihadi proxies encouraged by their success in the “Peace Spring” operation are planning to enlarge the “safe zone” and throw Kurds away. They send reinforcements of jihadis, armored vehicles and heavy weapons to the south in order to continue offense. Erdogan will not stop his bloody operation till he eliminates all the Kurds who are able to struggle Turkish genocide...

Then I guess the PKK will have to kidnap more refugee children to turn into soldiers to fight on behalf of those most innocent Kurds.

Does this "Kurdish social media" say anything about what Assad and Russia thinks about Turkey moving into Syria? Is Assad okay with Turkey taking a large chunk of his country? A chunk that has a good amount of oil?

btw, if Kurdish social media is anything like US social media, you should probably not pay too much attention to it. Just saying...

Where is Kurdistan? Never heard of it. Okay... I know that the Iraqi Kurds want a homeland called Kurdistan and I also know the Syrian Kurds aren't part of that faction. And as far as I know the Turks aren't attacking the Iraqi Kurds.

I expect Kurdistan is where mostly Kurds live, even if the name is unofficial.

Kurdistan is a region; and it was one of the many broken promises made by the European Allies during World War I when the French and the British tossed all treaties and deals aside so that they could favor Sykes-Picot.

Despite being carved up and divided by European-made borders, they have managed to maintain a sense of autonomy. As you can see for yourself, they are the largest, most condensed population of a single ethnicity on the planet without a country. They are viewed as "apostates" by Sunni Islamists; and they have routinely (off-and-on) been targeted for their ethnicity by Syrian, Turkish, Iraqi, and Iranian leaders. And the reason the Turks aren't attacking the Iraqi Kurds is that they would have to invade Iraq to do it. They, like the other three governments, are more concerned with exterminating only the Kurds on their side of the border. This is why Saddam Hussein gassed only his Iraqi Kurds.

Hi Ibrahim;

Hopefully as you become more familiar with this forum, you improve your awareness of where to place a thread. I have provided a link to where I would have put your thread.

Welcome to the forum!

So long story short they want to carve up the Middle East like a Christmas ham by making like Israel and using settlements as a pretext for annexing someone else’s territory. That’s all you really had to say.

Then I guess the PKK will have to kidnap more refugee children to turn into soldiers to fight on behalf of those most innocent Kurds.

So this is the rhetoric that the tRump supporters are going with. It's the new "human shields" bull****. Anything to distract from the fact that they are supporting genocide. :thumbdown

That is why I am not entirely opposed to an independent Kurdish state. At this point it seems like it might be the only valid solution to a crisis that Trump has severely worsened in a matter of days.

That was a long story for you? If that's all I said than I would be guilty of retarding the situation and presenting a lie.

The historical fact is that this is their territory. It was carved up like a Christmas ham by idiot Europeans when the Ottoman Empire fell. They reneged on "Kurdistan," then they drew in the borders that would create Iraq, Syria and Turkey's shape; thus the Kurds have been targeted for ethnic cleansing ever since by Iraqi, Syrian, Iranian, and Turkish governments. So when Turkey labels the Kurds a "terrorist" group, it should be taken with a grain of salt.

For that matter, think real, real hard about the ethnic makeup of Iraq and how they are densely populated. The chief reason it is having trouble uniting is that they are somewhat neatly organized with the Shia in the South/East, the Sunni in the North/West, and the Kurds even further North. Iraq is a Frankenstein's monster of a nation, again, because Europeans far away pulled out a map and slashed lines across it with their crayolas. And who did Saddam gas while oppressing the Shia?

I'm sorry, but I just can't resist. You're talking about a Muslim internecine war, and you refer not only to Christmas, which is bad enough, but you throw in a reference to ham on top of that. How about we say they're carving up the ME like a Ramadan goat?

.....of all the things to have a problem with out of that statement you literally picked the most ridiculous.

Considering your shtick is to incessantly bitch and moan about Muslims....it’s hardly surprising.

No I don't. I read and report on what the Qur'an says, and I tie it to historical events. You lie. Again.

You interpret it in a way that only jihadis agree with and pretend that that sums up the religion, which is akin to saying that the Westboro Baptist Church’s views represent “Christianity”.

And yes, you do make a habit out of lying.

You interpret it in a way that only jihadis agree with

Nope. I just read and report. If you have an alternative "interpretation", you are of course free to post it.

and pretend that that sums up the religion,

Nope, the Qur'an sums up the religion quite nicely without my help.

which is akin to saying that the Westboro Baptist Church’s views represent “Christianity”.

Nope. It says what it says.

And yes, you do make a habit out of lying.

And here's where we always end up. This is where I challenge you to provide an example, and this is where you fail. Happens every single time.

You “report” an interpretation which the overwhelming majority of Muslims don’t agree with.

Always amusing watching you shriek about “the Quran” when the overwhelming majority of Muslims—-people who, you know, read the Quran—- vehemently disagree with you.

You circling up in the fetal position and screaming “no no no Islam BAAAD” does happen every single time. Your entire argument is based on your own personal hatreds, not any facts.

People with weak arguments use words like "shriek"

about “the Quran”

"Why" "did" "you" "put" "the Qur'an" "in" "quotes"? Does it help you pretend that you're somehow making a point? Cuz you "aren't".

when the overwhelming majority of Muslims—-people who, you know, read the Quran—- vehemently disagree with you.

I don't think so. Anyone who reads the Qur'an simply reads it. There is nothing to vehemently disagree with. The words are what they are.

You circling up in the fetal position and screaming

There's that weak argument thingy again.

“no no no Islam BAAAD”

And again

does happen every single time. Your entire argument is based on your own personal hatreds, not any facts.

So when verse 8:55 says, "Lo! the worst of beasts in Allah's sight are the ungrateful who will not believe", am I supposed to think that a person who reads and believes that is going to be our friend?

You can continue to use the word "interpretation" as a means of trying to imply that a person can take the Qur'an to mean whatever they want it to mean, but it just makes you look silly. Here's another random sampling for you:

7:176 -"A person who follows his own lust is like a dog: if you attack him he pants with his tongue out, and if you leave him he pants with his tongue out. Such is the likeness of people who deny Our verses".

62:5 - "The similitude of those who were charged with the (obligations of the) Mosaic Law, but who subsequently failed in those (obligations), is that of a donkey which carries huge tomes (but understands them not). Evil is the similitude of people who falsify the Signs of Allah: and Allah guides not people who do wrong". - In case you didn't figure it out, he's talking about Jews.

80:42 - "they who are unbelievers, the wicked".

39:32 - "Who, then, doth more wrong than one who utters a lie concerning Allah, and rejects the Truth when it comes to him?"

40:10 - "The disbelievers will be told, 'God's hatred towards you is much greater than your hatred of your own selves'".

7:177 - "How evil an example are people who denied Our signs".

2:7 - "God has set a seal of their hearts and their hearing".

2:10 - "In their hearts is a disease".

2:15 - "God mocks them and gives them time to continue blindly in their transgressions".

2:18 - Unbelievers are "deaf, dumb, and blind".

2:39 - "Those who reject Faith and belie Our Signs, they shall be companions of the Fire".

Do you feel the love yet? I have a few hundred more just like these for you, but hey, why not just through another "interpretation" at me and call it a day?

Nothing weaker than your constant hysterics.

You “report” your own warped interpretation, nothing else. No different than what the Westboro Baptist Church or an ISIS recruiter does

Because, again, it’s nothing more than your own warped interpretation.

Funny, I don’t recall the Bible having a ton of nice things to say about nonbelievers either. Funny how your standard doesn’t seem to apply to Christians.

Again, the Bible has plenty of nasty things to say about nonbelievers. How many dozen atrocities were listed in the Old Testament again? Enough to fill the entire “Holy Land” with blood.

And then we’ve got the fact that biblical texts were used as justification for slavery, colonialism, the Crusades(which were not even remotely “defensive wars”) and terrorism across the globe up until the present.

But sure, let’s scream hysterically about Muslims

And with that I suspect you'll limp away claiming victory. Have a nice day. Goodbye until you're next drive-by troll.
