Choose your path carefully. Keep in mind, it might not be your exact thoughts, but closest.

PATH A - Trump will survive the current partisan attacks against him, and will get re-elected in December of 2020.

PATH B - Trump will get impeached, but come up short in the Senate. But in the general election, he will lose to Biden/Sanders/Warren/whoever ends up winning the Democratic nomination.

PATH C - Trump will get impeached, but come up short in the Senate. But he will come out against running for re-election.

PATH D - Trump will get impeached, but will resign before the Senate votes.

PATH E - Trump will resign before the congress votes for impeachment.

PATH F - Other.

I think the evidence will prove to be overwhelming -- to the point that even Trump loyalists can't ignore it. Fearing their own political survival, they will convince him to resign for medical reasons, instead of the ending up in history as the first president to be removed from office.

Will Trump last his first term?

I truly hope not.

Trump has already broken the US government almost beyond recognition.

I blame Obama -- for not child-proofing the country before leaving.

Lol, where have you been the last 3 years? Trump loyalists won't even admit the things Trump has said on live TV dozens of times. All the clips of him asking Ukraine to investigate Biden were doctored as part of a liberal conspiracy. There is no bottoming out for them and they will continue to sink and ignore all of his faults and law breaking completely regardless of the rock hard evidence presented.

We see the cracking when Lindsay {lapdog} Graham speaks out against Trump. The cracks are clear when the president of the United States is publicly defending a policy that allowed hundreds of ISIS supporters to escape. If Obama did that, they'd go for his head. While on that topic, these are some of the atrocities that #45 OKed that we all knew would happen if Turkey invaded (WARNING: graphic violence)

Haha, how many times have we heard "the cracking" is happening, or "they're finally turning against him!". Total nonsensical bull****. They'll criticize him, but they will not go against him. When we see them actually doing something to stop him instead of political theater while tacitly supporting and defending everything he does maybe there will be hope. My point being, if you're expecting Republicans to grow a spine and actually stand up to Trump, you're out of your mind. They won't. There is no limit to the amount they will degrade themselves in defending his behavior.

Yes, he'll survive.

No republicans have signed onto the impeachment. Without at least a dozen republicans it will look completely partisan.

Keep in mind that any congress can impeach any president, it doesn't matter if it's just or not. It's a completely political process.

If the impeachment is 100% partisan, what will the republicans do for revenge?

I think he'll survive the impeachment, although it is likely that it will pass in the House with a few Republican votes and fail in the Senate, but still with some Repub Senators voting to impeach.

I don't think he will be reelected though. There is a chance, always, since an incumbent always hold an advantage in just being the current President. And if Dem candidates or even those in Congress start dropping their level of professionalism to even twice where Trump operates (as in if we had a scale of 1 to 10 on professionalism, Trump operates around 1-2 normally, so even if we give him the higher end, doubling that would be a 4, and Dems need to maintain closer to at least 7 or above to ensure they aren't seen as dropping anywhere close to twice his level), they are likely to lose support and chase voters away (don't have to be chased to Trump to benefit him).

He'll last his first term. Then his second. He might not survive his third given his age.

Path B is the most likely path.

Not only has trump destroyed our reputation in the world but he has shown the GOP congress that their constituency will tolerate any level of corruption from a president with an "R" after their name. Opposing trump will therefore damage their chances of being re-elected. They'll therefore not vote to convict trump. The country is a different story, however. I haven't seen the polling after the Rudy's and trump's thugs were arrested last week but I don't think the majority of the electorate will tolerate trump's corruption any longer. He won't be reelected.

He'll be working on getting rid of the 22nd Amendment.

I love it when I see video's of him triggering the gullible with talk of a 3rd or 4th term.

Adds to the mountain of evidence that proves how poorly educated the triggered are.

Sorry to disagree, but I see no bottom to Trump sycophancy. History is replete with loyalists who let their leaders get away with the worst humanity has to offered, in order to accomplish their political goals.

Most loyalist don't even care. It's not about "facts". It's about the brute force naked display of power. They are at war with us and our government.

He's a narcissist. He would love to get rid of the 22nd Amendment.

But it is sad to see how much the Trumpsters love to see a President, a leader of the free world, trolling his opponents on a daily basis.

Adds to the mountain of evidence that proves how poorly educated Trumpsters are.

Btw, on the poorly educated...

^Junior's face after Trump says he 'loves the poorly educated' gets me every time. :lamo

You guys have clearly learned nothing from the last 3 years. Youve been duped once and will be duped perhaps a dozen more times between now and 2024

Well, they can’t admit what trump is, because then they’d have to admit they’ve been supporting him this whole time. The only recourse is to just keep going deeper and deeper and deeper, selling off another piece of their soul with every new crime and every new monstrosity.

Exactly! My God, I can't believe how many here debate with me on the legal terms of impeachment. It shows a stunning lack of knowledge of the Constitution and Constitutional process.

But remember, the Speaker's gavel was handed to Pelosi by the People. She has a Constitutional responsibly to represent their wishes. And her Constituents want Trump out. This is nothing to do with "just". This is the political will of the People. It's 100% political, as our forefathers designed it.

If the impeachment is 100% partisan, what will the republicans do for revenge?
Nothing much. There's little they can do without the House, but sit idly buy. Trump on the-other-hand, can do quite a bit if left unchecked by Congress, unless/until his government and/or military turn on him.

not enough republicans in the senate with the balls to put country above party to find him guilty
but the public exposure to tRump's array of anti-American actions via impeachment will effect an electoral tidal wave against the republican party/incumbents
prior to Liz Warren's inauguration, tRump will issue pardons for all of his family and cronies for any wrongdoing known or unknown thru the date of the pardon ... this vast list will include pence
then tRump will resign and president pence will pardon tRump for all crimes known and unknown as of the date of pardon
the democrats - now having a mandate to govern - will deal with the anticipated republican recession once again and move America forward ... ironically, making America great again
in a generation you will be responding to your grandkids' question: "what was a republican?"
