Just a question to stoke my curiosity.

Simple question, do you think Trump can do anything wrong?

Is he rotten to the core, engaged in criminal behaviour last and present?

Even if you don’t think he’s engaged in anything, do you think he’s capable of criminal behaviour?

Or is he a paragon of virtue fighting a desperate one man struggle against the entire corrupt and evil deep state and he can do no wrong?

Trump is a Voltron of humanity's worst qualities and shortcomings. Vain, ignorant, dishonest, prone to avarice, selfish, and retaliatory. Most of his actions proceed from one or all of those categories. And therefore most of his actions have ignoble motives. Whether engaged in criminal wrongdoing or calling a magazine to lie about Madonna, it matters not to me. I've known he's a scumbag since I dug one layer deep on him.

He's an interesting case study for what not to do and what not to be. I don't think we'll see another Trump in politics ever again and neither should we.

So, capable of wrongdoing, yes. Capable of right doing? Perhaps but the examples are so few and far between all the actions drawing criticism overshadow anything good he may be doing personally, professionally, or politically.

The real question to be asked of the "resistance", is, "Can Trump do anything right?".
Trump has blown Obama's first term out of the water on so many levels, yet he'll never get any credit from the haters.

Of course the President can do wrong. Define wrong.

Nobody is perfect.

Oh, that is unless you are a Socialist Progressive Democrat, and every politician, candidate, and follower of it's teachings.

He is a horrible leader but that does not mean he should be impeached over nonsense.

Unfortunately I am not omniscient, so I can't attest to any of the three options.

1. I don't believe he is rotten to the core.

2. Anyone and everyone is capable of criminal behavior of one form or another. As for Trump, read my opening statement.

3. No one is a "paragon of virtue," human being's have vices. So I can't chose that either.

Number 1 and number 3 are rejected. Trump is neither.

Number 2 is selected. Every human being is capable of doing wrong and Trump is a human being, but Trump has not engaged in criminal behavior.

However, I think you incorrectly associate "wrong" with "criminal". Wrong is a subjective term. Criminal is a legal term. For example, I might be a chain-smoker and you might consider that to be "wrong", but there would be nothing "criminal" about being a chain-smoker.

I suggest, Jetboogieman, that you try to be more precise with the wording of your polls in the future.

Trumper's, must look the other way or water it down when Trump does wrong

It's their duty

What about paying off a prostitute?

This is the kind of question that won't come with honest answers. It's thought provoking and, therefore, will not be given its due by people who personally need to think on their busted ideologies only in simplest terms.

- If a video surfaced about Trump diddling kids, the conversation would be about determining "how young is too young" as they seek other cultures to excuse it.

- Taking a dump on the White House lawn would be about a personal sacrifice to fertilize the lawn, thereby being a Godsend to the environment.

- Withholding Congressionally awarded economic aid to a foreign government who is facing a threat, as declared in Trump's 2017 National Security Strategy, in a secret plot to promote treachery and create dirt against a political election rival through said foreign government then refusing to comply with Congress' checks thereby promoting the idea that the Executive is all powerful and above reproach ...oh wait...we're actually doing that.

The SDNY has said otherwise.

Criminal behavior is considered wrong by society.

What about paying off a prostitute?

No more illegal than the prostitute accepting that payoff. The legal question remains: was the payoff for consensual sex or keeping quiet about that matter?

Yet....

So prostitution was legal where it took place?

So prostitution was legal where it took place?

One of my core "libertarian" beliefs is that one has absolute control over their own bodies.

IMO prostitution should be legal wherever it takes place. The only caveats are that all parties are of legal age, fully consenting i.e. under no duress or compulsion from any direction, and the transaction is fair/equitable.

I am not a supporter of morality laws when there is no "victim" other than the willing participant(s).

If there were a viable, non-left-leaning Republican available to take his place, I would be all for that.

If you're interested in someone who is in neither the pro or anti Trump camps, I'll try to answer your questions. Sure, Trump can do wrong just like any other president or human being. Disagreements on political policy or political stances on issues I don't count as doing wrong. Is Trump Virtuous, heck no. He's an obnoxious, uncouth egotist with a very thin skin that can't stand someone even thinking a bad word or thought about him. He's also no politician and doesn't know how the political game is played, he also hasn't learned a darn thing. He's his own worst enemy, more so than even the democrats who hate him. Over the last couple of weeks Trump has played right into the democrat's hands.

I wouldn't say Trump is rotten to the core either. He's out of his field, he stepped into the political arena thinking it would be the same as running his TV realty show or his real estate deals. He had and perhaps still hasn't any idea how government works or how to govern. With his bullying, in your face persona he belongs in the WWE more so than the Oval Office. Most Americans don't want their president to act like a wrestler or a spoiled four year old kid who goes around calling others names and throwing temper tantrums via twitter. Even so, that still doesn't make him rotten.

In a field where public opinion and public backing are most important if one is to succeed, Trump's vindictive, irrational behavior, ingrained in his character perhaps from a very young age will cause public opinion to oppose him and the backing of most Americans for him and his policies to drain away.

Trump is plain out of his element and doesn't know how to adjust.

Trump has blown Obama's first term out of the water on so many levels, yet he'll never get any credit from the haters.

Apart from tax cuts to the rich and reinforcing division and xenophobia what has he achieved? To blow someone out of the water he'd have to have done something. He hasn't, except f*** about on Twitter.

So prostitution was legal where it took place?

How would one prove that Trump did not engage in consensual sex on that occasion?

Would you accept as accurate the testimony of the person who took the payoff?

1. From what we know of his background, what he has said and done, how can anyone say he has done no wrong? The evidence is clearly there that he is a disloyal American presuming he is an American.

2. There is a concern that he is the type of person who will do anything to get reelected and likely will foment violence if things don't go his way.
