He should be, obviously and immediately.

But America’s tribalism is reaching nation breaking proportions, so it won’t happen.

It's an uninformed question. Nancy Pelosi can only impeach. Only the Senate can convict and remove a president from office.

Pelosi is a Representative, no a Senator.

You should attend at least one civics class.

Human behavior is controlled by incentive.

The basic dynamic here is that 2/3 of the Senate must vote to remove him from office, and it's a majority GOP.

So we would need to provide a major incentive to swing that against Trump.

The Dems are banking on the evidence of wrong doing reaching such a pitch that the GOP senators can't stonewall, but why would they reach that stage?

The only solid reason they might is that it will cost them votes and contributions, and there's your problem.

There simply isn't a compelling case to be made (with what we know today) to convince most of them that turning on Trump is better for their political futures than standing by him.

It's got little to do with the quality or quantity of evidence, unless that evidence convinces the voters and/or donors, and they in turn communicate that to their GOP senator, and that senator finds it compelling.

That chain of events is far too long and thin to support turning on the leader of your own party.

No, all House efforts are effectively dead on arrival in the Senate.

Articles of Impeachment is the best Democrats can hope for headed into 2020.

I think that it's important for the house to follow through on impeachment; put it to a vote. I would hope that they do decide to impeach. At that point, it's up to the senate. At that point the senate members will show their true colors. Let the cards fall where they may; but either way, we will all know the vote of each senator.

Democrats can make every seat about whether or not they supported Twump’s crimes if they play this right. It effectively puts every seat on display for the nation.

Yet Pelosi has stated her intent via the process she has implemented is to insure POTUS will not be elected in 2020. So my poll is on point.

It's a question based on a false premise. It's like if someone asked you, "when did you stop beating your wife?". I explained why, I'm sorry you're unable to grasp the concept.

Wrong again. Pelosi is powerless to prevent anyone from getting elected. What Pelosi is trying to do is engage in her constitutional duty, which is to investigate alleged wrongdoing on the part of POTUS. If the WH stops stonewalling and if the house is able to complete their investigation, the house will make their recommendation once the investigation has been completed and the Senate's job would be then to vote to convict or acquit. FYI - the Senate acquitted Clinton in the 90's and he was reelected. Whether or not a president is reelected is up to the people, not the Speaker of the House.

Someone with at least a rudimentary knowledge of U.S. civics and/or history should be aware of these facts. Surprising you're not. Can you tell me if you are a foreign citizen?
