Forget about impeachment. I want to know if you think he should be removed. Options will be available.

I’m skeptical of it b/c its mostly allegations. If its proven, then I’ll make a decision.

Yes. He actively sought and accepted the assistance of a hostile foreign government, including knowingly using illegally obtained information hacked by said foreign government, to win the Presidency. This is no longer in dispute by the honest and informed. Since then, we have found he is an unindicted co-conspirator for a crime his personal attorney is currently serving time for and it was found he committed obstruction of justice numerous times. Now we have proof (not evidence, proof) of him betraying America by trying to leverage US policy and money appropriated by Congress to get Ukraine to manufacture a phony crises which has already been debunked, solely to improve his chances of winning re-election in 2020.

He deserves to be in jail, but he certainly deserves to be removed.

I think all Americans should decide whether Trump stays or goes in November of 2020. I'm undecided about an earlier removal than the normal election process mainly because I can't decide whether all of this impeachment talk and all the stuff the democrats throw out into the public arena is nothing more than a political vendetta over losing an election or whether there is truth behind it. Separating fact from fiction, truth from political propaganda is pretty much impossible these days.

So like I did with Mueller, after a couple of years hearing how Mueller was going to prove collisions with would lead to Trumps removal, impeachment when no collusion was proven. I'll waited for his final report and I'll wait some on this also. I'm in neither the pro or anti Trump camps.

But in this era of polarization and ultra high partisanship, neither party lets the truth or facts get in the way of anything that will give them a political advantage.

A couple of problems here: The Mueller investigation was never about collusion. But about conspiracy. The report found very little evidence of conspiracy, but lots of examples of obstruction of justice and a President willing to take information from a foreign power. Trump even admitted that he would take information from a foreign power without notifying the FBI. On the Ukraine, we have on record a President asking a foreign leader to dig up dirt on a political opponent, while at the same time, refusing to hand out approved funds. My friend, there are multiple infractions happening here. None of which should be tolerated by any President, regardless of party. Enough is enough, get rid of this guy.

^^^^^This is pretty much the definitive post on this matter

For what? Having a conversation with another world leader about looking into possible corruption by members of the other party. I think the democrats who have spouting lies about our president for years without proof are the ones that need to be ousted. Looking into possible corruption should be praised and supported. Making allegations without proof should be the people going to jail. Shut up unless you can prove it. Otherwise it is slander.

That is illegal. Ellen L Weintraub on Twitter: "I would not have thought that I needed to say this.… "

The Federal Election Chair said so herself.

Strange, we keep hearing that he's done all these things. Yet proof is rather hard to come by when the chips are down.

I voted "No, he shouldn't be removed." I'm not a Trump supporter. I was very pro-Obama until the his second term. I wanted the ACA repealed and replaced. That was the main reason I voted against Hillary Clinton. I was not influenced at all by any propaganda going into the 2016 election. Of all the candidates in 2016, I liked Democrat Jim Webb the most. In this election, I like Tulsi Gabbard. The media covers "exciting" candidates so they pretty much gave us Trump vs. Hillary. The left has been gunning for Trump even before the inauguration. There has been so much manufactured BS coming from Democrats I can't even process what might even be worth a second look. "Wolf!" has been cried way too much about too many things. Stop. Just ... stop. I have Trump fatigue. For nearly 3 years, I have had to listen to Kimmel, Colbert, et al, making fun of Trump ... endlessly. Even the "That's what she said," and Chuck Norris jokes get old. No President has gotten so much attention. President Johnson was the most racist President in modern times, yet did more for the Civil Rights movement than any other President. Possibly to secure votes for the Democrats? Possibly because he knew that government needed to help African-Americans at the time? But, the media wasn't obsessed with Johnson's character flaws. Every tweet seems to bring Salem witch hunters in front of the cameras. Racist, sexist, yeah ... yeah. Whatever. Yawn. It just seems if Trump eats bacon that would somehow be an indictment. I'm tired of it. I can't figure out what is real and what is just another empty accusation. It seems that Trump tirades have gone from monthly, to bi-weekly, to weekly, to daily, to hourly. Someone is saying Trump should be impeached? What time is it? Twitter time or time to open another door to the closet with another missing skeleton? Democrats, just stop. Concentrate on finding a worthy opponent in 2020.

Is this Trump's Watergate Tapes?

There is a recording somewhere. NSA?

I think all Americans should decide whether Trump stays or goes in November of 2020.

Our republic cannot wait that long to go through another rigged election, so it's time to impeach.

Oh, the proof isn't hard to come by at all. Let me help you with it:

Russia Collusion/Obstruction: https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2019/politics/read-the-mueller-report/
Unindicted Co-Conspirator: Michael Cohen Charging Documents
Ukraine: Full Document: Trump’s Call With the Ukrainian President - The New York Times

So now that you have the proof, you've come around to my way of thinking, right? Or did you always have the proof, you just wanted to pretend otherwise?

Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law during his first term. Why did you flip-flop?

For what? Good question.

As Alexander Hamilton wrote in Federalist No. 65, impeachment was provided as a response not just to crimes but to acts that were an “abuse or violation of some public trust.” During this administration, Americans have discovered the degree to which past presidents were constrained not by specific laws but only by tradition, character and an understanding of the framers’ intent. Mr. Trump has proved immune to such considerations. Twisting the arm of another national leader to find dirt on the person who may run against him in the next election is a serious violation of the public trust.

With respect to the phone call, Mr. Trump doesn't even realize that he did anything wrong (and it seems that you agree.)

As Timothy Egan wrote:

How could they release this (the redacted report)?“It turned out to be a nothing call,” Trump said. He also described it as “beautiful” and “perfect” and asked for an apology from his critics.
This was a “nothing call” only to a man with nothing for a moral foundation. This was exculpatory only to someone who thinks that the crime he has just outlined for all the world to see does not matter. This was “beautiful” and “perfect” only to someone who has crossed so many lines in his life that he has no idea where the boundaries are.

Yes he should be removed ASAP.

Better late than never.

Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law during his first term. Why did you flip-flop?

It didn't affect me until his 2nd term. No one really knew how the ACA would affect them. During Obama's speeches on his health plan, he mentioned my insurance as being one of the two models he liked. I had a Geisinger HMO that covered me out of state and out of country for less than $50 per month when I first got on the plan. It rose to less than $80 a month prior to the ACA. In 2009, I had elective eye surgery to remove an annoying floater that appeared in my left eye. I found one of the few doctors willing to do the surgery at the time was a legend in ophthalmology in NYC. Cost me $6800 out of pocket, Geisinger reimbursed me $6200. I was able to use the plan while living in the Bahamas because I wasn't a permanent resident. They were amazing. Under the ACA, all that changed. High premiums, high deductibles, and while many had insurance, using insurance wasn't affordable. It became like major medical for many of my friends and my girlfriend. CareCredit, which sucks, became the way to go for a lot of people.

From what I could gather from Mueller, Trump and his campaign didn't collude with Russia or conspire with them. That was good enough for me. But not for many others. I also think as far as obstruction of justice, a lot of that is in the eye of the beholder. Was firing Comey obstruction? I think not. Republicans wanted him fired after he refused to prosecute Hillary over her classified e-mails. Comey was a hero to the Democrats as a result. Then Democrats wanted him fired when he reopened the case and became a hero to Republicans. Trump finally fired him, then the Democrats fawned all over Comey and became a cause celebrate to them. The Same Comey they wanted fired before and right after the election.

I could go on and on, but partisan politics seems to in play here big time. From both sides I might add.

Our republic cannot wait that long to go through another rigged election, so it's time to impeach.

Hmm, like the DNC and state Democratic Party jury rigged their primaries in Hillary's favor? Hillary lost that election to Trump on her own. She was lazy on the campaign trail, had a very inept political campaign and strategy, hid from the media, along with numerous other reasons. She took her election for granted, perhaps feeling she deserved it just because she was a woman and didn't have to work at getting elected.

Collusion with Russia, Democrats say yes, Republicans no, the less to non-partisan independents, the non-affiliated with either party say no by a 40-28 margin. Obstruction of Justice, once again democrats say yes, Republicans no, independents, are split 34-36 on the subject. Impeachment, not surprising democrats say yes, Republicans no, the non-affiliated independents, probably quite a lot in neither the pro or anti Trump camps say no impeachment by a 45-28 margin.

All of this tends to take on a very partisan political battle look.

Instead of destroying the entire act for its flaws, which do exist, let's work together to improve the ACA. Binary thinking gets us nowhere here.

I'm not defending Trump nor am I defending those who want him impeached. Just stating facts. I realize which ever side one takes, pro or anti Trump, Republican or Democrat, neither let facts get in their way when it comes to Trump. It's all political propaganda for the most part coming from both sides. Each side let's their love or hate dictate.

Far as I'm concerned, it's best to let time sort all of this out. Let the American people decide, not one or the other major political party which each is just interested in power, in either retaining or regaining that power. Neither takes into consideration America as a whole in their quest for supreme political power. Just the good of the party and not of the country.

I'm not defending Trump nor am I defending those who want him impeached.

You know that Trump's behavior is completely indefensible, but instead of actually addressing it you deflected to Hillary. Classic move to try to take the heat off of this deplorable president.

Our republic cannot wait that long to go through another rigged election, so it's time to impeach.

I can wait to watch another several years of hysterical boo hooing by the Trump Derangement Crowd. the only rigged election was what the Democrat machine did to insure that Hillary won the nomination and the election. They were successful at first, failed in the end
