Also, on a side note, who had the best one-liner? The best zinger? Either at Trump, or another candidate?

I'm seeing some early press that Biden did well. That's not my take-away.
I think Biden stumbled and fumbled and generally appeared old. Same with Bernie.

I thought Elizabeth Warren did pretty well. Buttigieg too.

Harris sure as hell put it to Trump on quite a few occasions. I almost think she planned to jump on the Trump Twitter-grenade as a strategy.
Get him so fired up he loses his mind.

O'Rouke took a HUGE gamble that's probably a handful of nails in his coffin, but it'll surely get the NRA and gun-nuts in a froth.

Biden. He commanded the stage. He made a lot of great points, which appeals to moderate folks like me.

What did he stumble and fumble on? In my view, he commanded the stage and was able to aggressively go after the other opponents.

Yes, Biden is old. Everybody knows that. Someday you'll be old as well.

Biden had his strongest and best performance. He has was detailed and forceful.

Warren was the most consistent both last night in all her replies and in all her appearances and continues to shine.

O'Rourke was the guy who did himself the most good and is emerging as the person out front on progressive gun policy.

Harris was at times very good - and at times condescending and swarmy so I think she did not help0 nor hurt himself.

Yang pulled a stunt with the give way and it hurts the dignity of someone running for our highest office. He really hurt himself with that and his failed joke about Asian doctors.

But the big loser was Castro attacking Biden and coming off as just plain rude and wrong. Bye bye to the potential veep slot.

I wasn't really all that impressed by anyone, including the candidates I like. Mediocre to solid (at best) performances all-round, with no obvious and decisive winner. I do think that Bernie and Warren came off strongest overall, though Warren definitely offered some answers that were significantly more verbose and ambling than they needed to be. Booker had some good moments. Castro's aggression was appreciated, though the jab at Biden's memory was probably a bridge too far.

Biden definitely stumbled a bit, and got pretty decisively counterpunched when he tried to go after Sanders and Warren, particularly on Medicare for All; probably the net loser of the top three in terms of it being a contest between them, but it wasn't a disaster like his first debate, and I suppose that might be considered a sort of win given the apprehension that he might commit to a lethal gaffe or memory lapse which he did not.

"whiny *****"!?!?!?! Thats silly. I guess you do NOT like his gun stance so you put an inane label of him to try and destroy him and thus his gun position. He was forceful and it is working for him.

Old Bernie agenda is getting old

Also, he comes across as yelling(Turn off)

So how do ya think he's coming for peoples AR-15's?

Being fed-up with gun violence isn't being a "whiny *****". It's pretty much where most intelligent Americans are right now.

Might he be pushing too far? Yes.

But having a strong and real desire to DO SOMETHING, you know, besides just "praying it gets better", isn't a "*****" thing.

Aggressively and with strong conviction. Which is the opposite of a whiny ***** as he was called.

Calling that a "death threat" is anything but forceful

Calling what was replied to him a death threat is a ***** thing. He wilts like a flower whenever anyone gives him push back

Biden had a good performance. Very easily the best so far of his campaign.

Bernie wasn't bad either. Warren wasn't bad, but she also didn't really take center stage at any point. Given how that turned out for Castro and Harris, maybe that wasn't a bad idea.

Beto had his moments but I think he's too far gone to really do anything with it.

Mayor Pete had his good moments as well. He's a long shot from being the front runner, but I think Warren, Biden, and Sanders would be smart to select him as VP. He's very well spoken and quick thinking.

Too many people on the stage. Needs to be cut in half.

I can't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure I saw him deflect away from a few questions he was asked and never provided an answer. One of those times I think was when he was confronted with how he would handle things with Mexico and Latinos.

I just recall not seeing him do much of anything during the first two hours, and at least twice completely NOT answer the direct question he was asked.
And yes, Castro called him out correctly in taking some credit for what Obama did when it was casting a good light on him, but then putting some distance between them when the light wasn't so good. "We did that" when it was advantageous, but "I was just the VP, that wasn't anything I could change" when it was not advantageous.

It's just my personal take on the two hours I watched. Biden did not impress me at all.

I support cutting politicians in half, would be with a big saw like in cartoons or maybe a laser like in James Bond?

If the nominee is Warren, I can see that. If it's Joe or Bernie, then no woman gets on the ticket. That's a big issue for Democrats.
