Its San Francisco being modern day San Francisco. They allow human $#!t and used needles to lie around on their streets. They protected the illegal that killed Kate Steinle, practically shielding him from being thrown in federal prison, while hiding others from being deported. They don't allow plastic water bottles in their town. They banned plastic straws. They house an actual domestic terrorist organization (labeled by law enforcement), Antifa. Should it really surprise anyone they would label the NRA a terrorist organization? Not really, because this is how the Left operates. They'll call their opposition racists, sexists, homophobes, xenophobes, and (in this case) terrorists to silence them. Other than doing that, there's no reason nor evidence to label a group like the NRA a terrorist organization because they know it isn't true. California itself is the Leftist model of what they want to do with the rest of the country: rundown, high taxes, smelling like literal $#!t, silencing and jailing opposition, protecting criminals, homlessness and poverty everywhere (except for government officials and their partners in big business), and no prosperity. That is THE model that they're using. If you think I'm wrong, wait until they outlaw Christianity, conservatism, libertarian ideology, and/or moderate ideology next. They're that crazy and hateful to do it.
 
Too funny. The most bleeding-heart city in America has words for one of the most aggressive right-wing lobbyist groups in America.

- San Francisco: "You are a domestic terrorist organization!"

- NRA: "You should worry less about mass shootings and more about your skyrocketing petty crimes!"

Conservatives: “Oh yeah? Well you banned plastic straws!” (Mic drop).
 
This is what happens when you attack one of the Left's most beloved and poop filled cities. They jump right into action and try to defend a town that protects criminals, bans objects that have NOTHING to do with the environment, and silence opposition by calling racists or terrorists. The guy above apparently loves the idea of people being fined or losing their jobs because someone gave someone else a plastic straw. He definitely LOVES the NRA, an organization that has no history of violence nor even promotes it, and has helped promote the individual to protect themselves and defuse situations before they happen, being called terrorists. He is, however, one of those Leftists that doesn't like when Antifa, an organization that ACTUALLY has REAL history of violence against opposition and typically are the ones that start the beatings in the street, AND an organization that has been deemed a domestic TERRORIST group by law enforcement (only a matter of time before Trump himself declares them as such), is demonized and scrutinized because, in his mind, they're "anti-fascist."

He's not alone, though. Many Leftists actually LOVE the violence against fellow citizens, regardless if it's a beating or a murder, if it helps push their agenda forward. But, again, as I said earlier, it doesn't surprise me that San Francisco has done this and it doesn't surprise me that people, like the guy that commented, are trying to silence me. He's just another "ORANGE MAN BAD" person and believes people like Andrew Yang (a guy resembles Chicken Little) or Fauxahontas Warren (the 1/1024 native American) can do no wrong. So not much I can do there to convince someone like that.

Using your logic someone is against free speech if they report someone to the police for making threats. This is no different.Those loonies did something bat **** insane by fraudulently labeling a group terrorists when clearly they are not. Those people have no business in any elected or appointed office and should have their heads examined. The NRA should sue them for libel.

They are simply an organization like the American Medical Association, AARP, VFW, ElkS, Moose, etc. (Without the bar ;) )They are an association of people who share a common interest in firearms and the laws and regulations concerning them, and defending the second amendment when necessary.

The NRA is NOT a terrorist group. To say so is an absurd exercise in hyperbole.
 
No they are not. Although they are the perfect example of government gone wrong(simply put).Due to the extreme lobbyist structured governmental system, they are its by product. This can be readily illustrated in the amount of controversy and the type of statements it has released after mass shooting and pushes to gun control. To end with although it is a non profit it is considered one of the most influential lobbyist groups in the United States. The amount of corruption is indescribable and this may paint a very nasty picture to a variety of peoples.
 
I was surprised at the amount of ignorance from some in this blog. Those who believe the NRA has a large lobbing presence. The NRA spends a grand total of $1.6 million on lobbing. To put it in perspective. George Soros spends $31.5 million, through his Open Society Policy Center group. The NRA is not even in the top 20. Some need to quit drinking the Kool-aid and start thinking for themselves.

But the NRA sure isn't helping to craft more sensible gun laws either.

Does the first amendment protect you against defamation and libel. Because falsely labeling a group that is not a terrorist organization a terrorist organization is blatantly false.
