Maybe the fact that safety for legal Americans (and illegals), for examples, is put on the backburner for illegal criminals is one reason for voting for Trump.

Lol yes that huge crime wave of contributing to less crime than locals is a yuuuuuge problem. You really cant imagine refugees as human beings can ya?

Two wrongs don't make a (W)right...Unless it's Rev. Wright...It's just as wrong for you to scream and lie about Trump as it was for others to scream and lie about BO.

So, you admit you scream and lie about Trump? Why? For revenge?

Name those lies. And revenge for what exactly? I don't even like Hillary.

Don't play dumb. You know damned well I refer to this orange monster's rule.

Oh come on. You're seriously going to hate your neighbor forever over who they voted for?

America is still America. Reality is that not much has changed; Presidents don't have as much impact as we pretend they do.

Perspective: We survived Nixon, Carter, Slippery Dick, Dubyer, and the Obama-nation. You'll survive Trump. Chill out.

it is ok to have voted for trump. it is not ok to support/enable him at this time as we can see how dangerous he is to our way of life

you are mistaken, what you say had always been true however america is currently being reshaped "like we have never seen before" and we will never again be the revered country we were or have the world domination that enabled our lifestyle.

to utter the names Nixon, Carter Obama... if a logical fallacy

Every 4 or 8 years, 30% of the country thinks "oh this is the END. We are DOOMED." This side, or that side, depending on who won.

Well so far the doomsayers continue to be wrong, and I've been watching the farce for almost half a century. When it's all over, usually little has really changed. The two parties are more like two sides of the same coin, differing more in detail than essence.

Go out and have a seat on the porch. Drink a beer or whatever. Play with the dog, or the kids. Chill a little while. It's gonna be okay.

Go visit your neighbors. Avoid talking about politics. Ask about work or their kids. See that they're just regular folks, trying to make it in this world just like you.

Come meet the new boss, same as the old boss...

Will we forgive the poster who created this thread?

Every 4 or 8 years, 30% of the country thinks "oh this is the END. We are DOOMED."

That's odd. I never previously operated along those lines. I've voted for both party candidates over the years and never had a cataclysmic premonition about one or the other.

I always felt that even though we disagreed on certain points, the other candidate did indeed still love America, would protect the Constitution, and would not collaborate with our enemies.

Those past certainties have all evaporated since 2016. This time around, I believe it is crucial for America that Donald Trump be soundly defeated. I want the proverbial wooden stake in his dark heart.

That will be my overarching goal when I step into the voting booth on 3 November 2020.

OK you made a definite statement.

Now tell us how he is dangerous to our? way of life.

Please be specific.

In macro, he is destroying the intricate balance of trade and defense that has provided us teh the greatest standard of living the world has ever know. A system, I might add, that we designed to maximize our economy and standard of living.

Trust me, I understand how you simply do not understand this.

You don't understand anything, although you think you do.

All of you posts here prove that.

You just keep thinking you are better and smarter than everybody else and see where that gets you in November of 2020.

I am "better and smarter" than you.

This is not debatable.

You should be reading my posts as an educational tutorial and asking questions for clarification when I speak over your head, nothing more.

I get it. You are a comedian. I hope you get paid for your work.

"Will we forgive our neighbors who enabled this nightmare?"

Your neighbors are not seeking forgiveness, nor do they need it or even want it from you. They went with the candidate who they thought was the best.

Do you feel you need forgiveness for nominating someone even worse than Donald Trump? Someone so utterly horrible that it enabled him to become president?

Te absolvo. Go and sin no more.

The people that empower Trump are those that vote for him.

Is this really that hard?

There is nothing to forgive.

They made a choice and that is it.

Nixon won a second term by a landslide, he got more votes from Democrats than the Democratic candidate did.

Nixon got impeached and no one was asking Americans who voted for him to beg for forgiveness.

One of the biggest human traits is we do not like to admit we made a poor choice.

Humans will bend the truth or make things up to justify a bad decision.

After Nixon was impeached over 70% of people polled said that they had not voted for him. (Remember it was a landside win.)

If our current president was to be assissnated like Kennedy or Lincoln he would likely be a revered martyr.

If you want Trump out of office you need to work twice as hard as one of his supporters.

I did not vote for him, but many of my neighbors did.

That choice isn't what I judge them by.

.

With all respect, WTF!?

Most the country would most definitely not react as such.

Simple question. Will we forgive our neighbors who enabled this nightmare?

... are you trying to incite violence against those who voted for Trump with this question? "WILL WE FORGIVE OUR NEIGHBORS OR MUST THEY PAY FOR THEIR CRIME FOR VOTING FOR THIS BARBARIAN, EITHER BY IMPRISONMENT OR BY BLOOD" is what I'm getting from this. If anyone else read this along with the other posts on this thread, trying to figure out what the hell you meant by this question, they may get the same idea. This is a Leftist poll. All you have to do is look at the percentage and over 50% said 'no'. No surprise there I'm wondering what the punishment is because they obviously see this as a crime. Now that this has sparked my curiosity, I voted for Trump, and I'm happy and satisfied so far with what he's done, do you wish for my imprisonment or my head? According to this poll, since I can't be forgiven based on your standards, the punishment has to fit the crime. So which is it, prison or death?

Trumpets always think in terms of violence. That never crossed my mind. BTW, I am a republican not a liberal.

Lunatics, the bunch of you, is my take away from the replies here.

I'm not talking if you're a Republican or a liberal. I know Republicans who are Leftists (John McCain types). Hell, I'd be fine if you were just liberal. You're a bleeding heart Leftist, and this poll proves it. Only Leftist lunatics come up with bat$#!t crazy polls like this. And you're running away from my question. For my punishment in voting and supporting this current president, what do you with me and others who voted for Trump: my imprisonment or my head? Which do you prefer, and which one would better suit this "crime" for voting for Trump? It's obvious you hate Trump supporters and wish for something to be done with them, so don't side step it the question.

Just for the record, YOU created and posted this poll. Not me nor ANY Trump supporter.
