Is Trump the Second Coming?

Yes, by regulating away "interlopers" large corporations can use socialism to extinguish competition.

Neither of which fits the definitions given by the Christian Church and religious scholars. But people do need to marry their politics with their religion. Muslims call these types of people Islamists within Islam. What do Christians call Christians who argue political Christendom? Christian?

Why the sarcasm? It's a little harsh, don't you think? It implies that you could care less about human lives, particularly if they're Canadian. Is that how it is with you? Your attitude is exactly that of Trump's. He's careless about anyone else but himself. He cares more about the dollar than he cares about democracy.

Ummm, when large corporations, by what ever the means works, eliminate competition the end result is monopoly not socialism. Corporate monopoly is usually called fascism.
 
Fascism is also known as National Socialism.

People can call their parties or their religions what they want. It doesn't necessarily reflect who they really are. The Church of Christ would probably make Jesus weep. The Christian Democrats of Germany are neither Christian nor democrats. Most libertarians are just politically selfish troglodytes and the minute someone is a bigger bully and starts trampling on their rights they run to government for protection. It's probably better to go to a more academic site than party names for the definition of Socialism.

National Socialists did not use socialism to create the huge corporate monopolies.
 
It sure isn't a free market based on competition. Build a better mouse trap doesn't fly under Fascism nor International Socialism.

For heaven's sake look up the meanings of fascism and socialism. There is no such thing as a free market. There are less restrictive markets and more restrictive markets. Free markets are a figment of the conservative imagination. And better mouse traps are created under all sorts of economic and political regimes.

Let me restore some sarcasm: We will no doubt hear a lot about socialism next year, with republicans saying democrats are the party of that evil -ism, and no doubt calling for the end of Social Security, the VA, Medicare, unemployment insurance, the minimum wage, workers comp, the 40-hour week, the FDA, public schools, National Parks, Obamacare, FEMA, the EPA, the Interstate Highway system, and... I must be forgetting something.

There was a time Waddy I could relate to the "Sorta sexual in nature" but nature hasn't been that kind to me in a long while. Different emphasis different things, indeed.

My cat has. Not whole ones all at one time mind you. He isn't all that fond of them when they have jalapeños on them, and he prefers cheeseburgers (really) without mustard, or onions, but some ketchup and pickles are ok.

Why? Because I think Canada is strong enough to take care of itself. The boo hoo is directed to those who think it isn't, and whine about it.
