I plan to vote for Trump in 2020, but didn't vote for him in 2016. Are there others on this board that fit that description?

Seeing as Gabbard is getting smeared by the left at this point, and Yang is slowly falling out of favor with me. I'm most likely going to vote for Trump again this time around.

The choice is either Trump or one of the clown show the Dims are promoting. Trump is the only choice.

Riiiiight, you were really going to go from Trump, all the way over to Yang.

Yes, I was.

I was a staunch democrat up until Bernie was betrayed by his own party, and the DNC here in Alabama basically subjected myself, and those who left with me. To some of the most racist, and hateful things you could apply to someone.

Yang had good ideas, some interesting policies, but his actions over the last few months have caused me to rethink my dedication. I've already donated to his run, and that's as far as I think I'll actually take this.

And so you went from wanting to support the anti-Trump (Bernie) to supporting Trump himself? Yeah, that doesn't sound real at all. When you have "watching lefties flee" as your title, it's pretty hard to believe you would ever support a liberal candidate - much less a hardcore progressive.

I voted Libertarian in 2016, and it looks like i will again.

No, I'll support a liberal candidate. But this crap that you see coming from the left in such droves now, isn't liberalism.

That's why you have tons of moderate, and classic liberals who are just getting disillusioned with the democratic party.

I'll readily admit that when I voted for Trump in 2016, it was partially out of spite. Even though I was fine with some of the policies and the possibilities that were being expected. I had already volunteered for Bernie's campaign, and I knew full well of the things that were being said about Trump. That also means that I knew full well what was a lie, and what we were being told to say just to do him damage. Though you can see just how little effect us doing just that, had in the long run on Trumps campaign.

Several of the others went 3rd party. I think it was the anger over having everything that I'd help work for, not only be undone. But be undone by my own party's most crooked elements.

Then again, It might've been the young progressive's committee members calling me a house nigger to my face, that helped make that decision for me as well.

Hard to say at this point.

And so you got back at the DNC by supporting a candidate who supports everything Sanders stands against?

I think this is a bunch of bull****. I think you like the attention you get from claiming to be someone who went all the over from Sanders to Trump, because it absolves you from having to own being a champion of the alt-right.

And I can just as easily claim some adverse things about you as well. But that doesn't make me correct in saying as such.

I'm not for everything Trump has done. He could've done better on foreign policy, and he could just shut the **** up from time to time. Gods know just how much of the world will collapse when he stops tweeting for one damn day.

But he hasn't been that bad of a president, and I haven't experienced byers remorse like I did after voting Obama in on his first term. I don't care for the side of the isle, I care for the policies, and what that person might bring.

Like I said Yang hand promise. I like Gabbard more, and should they fall from the race then I'll go back to supporting Trumps re-election. Because honestly non of the other democrats on the ticket even mesh well with what I want, except maybe one other. But she's spent the last 3 years pissing her chances away.

There was a time when a republican voter could switch parties knowing major changes wont affect them all that much since there were policy differences, nit existential ones.

The New Democrat party is too far left and is not votable. Its all about wealth transfer and regardless of what they tell you, the wealth is in the middle class and the middle class is not interested in economic suicide.

My guess is only young right wingers who came of voting age since Trump got elected will be able to "honestly" say they'll vote for him this time but didn't last time. Or old ones who were in a coma in Nov 2016.

You're giving yourself away.

When you say "none" of the other Democrats interest you and clarify that the "other" is a female, you're leaving out the person who is in the field right now, who you claimed to have once supported: Sanders.

Voted Stein last time and won't be voting for Trump. I will have to see who the DNC nominee is for certain before I can say for sure, but probably won't vote for them either.

I damn well don't support him now. At this point he appears to be nothing more than a crony democrat like most of the others. He's throwing around most of the same garbled talking points, and barely stands for what he did when he was running in 2016.

Trump is the most entertaining clown in politics now. How Trump is superior compared to Bernie or Warren? Better policies?

Gary wasn't all that bad of a choice. Though he just didn't survive the presidential run.

Nominate someone like Warren and see how that number increases drastically.

I voted for Evan McMullen in 2016. I had to go four-deep to find an actual conservative to support.

I don't yet know how I will vote in 2020. Depends on who is running. Probably won't be Trump, or the Dem candidate. I might go Libertarian unless that dope Gary Johnson is nominated again.

Are you serious. Open borders, free college, universal child care, guaranteed income, reparation, medicare for all, and the great green deal just to name a few. Anyone with an IQ over 25 knows there is not enough money in the world to pay for all these give aways.

My guy, Bernie's platform literally hasn't changed in over three decades. If you don't see the 1:1 parity between now and 2016, it's because you weren't listening.

Not exactly 1:1 given the identity politics, and cronyism, not to mention folding for his party after they screwed him over.

He just isn't the same person I was going to vote for in 2016.

Yep. Will also do. Same situation.
