Independents Only - Do You Plan to Vote for Trump in 2020?

Do you plan to vote for Trump in 2020?

Kamala? The former DA? You'll vote for her? Boy, this isnt doing your edgelord shtick any favors.

Just because I'm an unrepentant **** stirrer online, doesn't mean I'm willing to turn a blind eye to the party that's been undermining voting rights in my home state of Georgia. Even Kamala is a lesser evil than the current Republican party as a whole. There's nobody but me to get pissed off when I step into the voting booth.

Anyone legally allowed to vote can vote but you need an ID. Everyone has an ID or should be able to get one for next to nothing.

Depends on who the Dems can bring in... if it is Hilary or Biden then that is not good for them...

That's a nice sentiment on paper, but in practice, voter ID laws effectively cost as much as a week's worth of groceries for many impoverished Americans - see page 2 for the bolded summary. It's a poll tax, in all but name, and I could almost forgive the people that pushed for these laws if legislators hadn't lied through their teeth about virtually nonexistent voter fraud in order to get them passed. However, in the pursuit of stopping literal handfuls of voter fraud cases per decade, the Republicans are willing to disenfranchise tens of thousands of voters, at minimum. If they aren't malicious, then they are at least stupid, and either one is worth fighting against them in this case.

Oh, bravo, young man, bravo! :kissy:

This poll is for Independents only. Do you plan to vote for Trump in 2020?

I didn't vote for him last time, although I listened to what he had to say. Observing his behavior in the republican debates and realizing how ignorant he was, I refused to vote for him, although I wasn't crazy about Hillary. I would have rather had Biden in that last race, but that was not an option for his personal reasons.

Now that I'm witnessing his behavior, words and actions for such a long period of time, there is no way I would vote for him regardless of who he was running against.

Trump has had his chance. Better men have been denied a second term.

I don't like the Democratic candidates, but I don't know who else is running in the Republican Party, so far. So I don't know yet.

What on Earth is that nonsense? I'm not reading 63 pages of bull****. I doubt it costs more than $20 anywhere for a photo ID and you need one anyway if you are going to collect government benefits, drive, or buy alcohol, etc.

I dunno about that. Trump is a total a-hole, but he isnt a war-monger, and the economy is doing alright so far. On the other hand, his dem opponents are all for massively raising taxes and funding all sorts of nutty spending programs. As much as I hate Trump, the alternative is far far worse.

Nope, and did not vote for Trump in 2016, but I also will not vote for Obama 3.0 in the form of Biden just as I refused to vote for Hillary. If (and that is highly unlikely) the demorats can offer a fiscally responsible POTUS candidate then I might vote for a major party POTUS candidate in 2020.

I'm not sure fiscal responsibility is something we push any more.

We'll see who the Dems put up. I'm absolutely not voting for Trump, but I don't think I'll vote Dem either unless they get someone really good.

Pfft, Colorado mails out ballots. No one "checks my ID" when I vote via mail.

They should. What if the mailperson delivered your ballot to the wrong place and that person voted instead, even if they weren't eligible to vote?

Better hope he gets the right address, lol.

Though I haven't missed a ballot yet. And who the hell would check an ID if you're mailing in a ballot?

Hell to the No.

It shouldn't be like that. You guys are worried about Russia hacking our election but you don't seem to give a crap if someone else votes in your place because they got your ballot.

No one has ever gotten my ballot, and Russia cannot hack a paper ballot.

If nothing else, this thread proves that liberals can't follow instructions.

He's mighty keen on starting conflict with Iran, for someone who isn't a warmonger. Trump's policies have interrupted trade enough to harm farming communities like my own, and when we inevitably hit a recession (they happen in cycles & we're not going reverse centuries-long patterns any time soon), we're already at stimulus-levels of deficit spending and reduced taxes, so there's not much room to go further to patch the economy back up. As for the "nutty spending programs," I think we're just going to have to agree to disagree on whether or not they're nuts. Just remember, the dwindling slice of pie the middle class gets wasn't dwindling before Reagan's trickle down policies went into effect.

It should be verified that only people eligible to vote, vote. Since I don't see how you can do that by mail, then that should not be allowed. Voting is only for people eligible to vote, that's why there are voting laws. There have always been voting laws.

You can register to vote at the DMV, they can verify you there. Then CO sends out ballots and people can vote, then drop off ballots at one of the many drop offs. It encourages more people to vote, which isn't a bad thing. Sorry you hate democratic participation so much, lol.

I love how the left call illegals voting, "democratic participation".
