Gabbard reportedly has a friendly relationship with Assad. Her foreign policy views absolutely do not reconcile with mine!

Tulsi Gabbard’s Deceptive Foreign Policy | The Nation

The Nation - Media Bias/Fact Check

Granted, I provided an opinion written for a distinctively Left Wing source.

She does, and I'm not going to say that her at times overt coziness with foreign dictators is not a negative for me as it very much is, but it generally is vastly outweighed by the positives, even in terms of foreign policy given her ardent anti-war stances.

I'm sick of the forever wars.

I'm sick of this country pissing away trillions engaging in costly, needless military interventionism, weakening ourselves to enrich military contractors and special interests while China laughs at our self-destructive idiocy and grows ever stronger.

I have often said that Kamala's wretched history and decisions as a prosecutor and attorney general are more than enough ammunition to sink her were someone willing to utilize it. It is good to see that begin to pan out, and all the more so from Gabbard.

I watched Gabbard give Harris her comeupins. It's about time somebody did!

Yeah the Nation is pretty much DailyKos level leftwing lunacy. It probably thinks Bernie is slightly too right

Gabbard has little to no chance making it to the Houston debate stage.

And tonight showed why I have supported Cory Booker, saying that even if he doesn't get the nomination (which is unlikely at the moment), the person who does get the nomination would be a fool not to snag Booker as VP. This guy is likable, funny, smart as a whip, and can excite voters beyond even Obama's vaunted ability!

First time I heard Booker give a full-on passionate speech, I screamed "Amen!" when he finished, and I'm not even religious! That guy can mesmerize an audience and have them throwing roses at his feet... and they'd sure as hell break their necks to get to the polls on election day to check a box with his name next to it!

comeuppance? I guess you think Harris has gotten too uppity?

I think it's more she should be held to account for her very controversial history as a prosecutor and attorney general; something she had avoided thus far.

that and her sleeping her way to political office. she's not very bright either.

As much as I dislike Harris personally, and hope I'm not forced to vote for her, this was a sleazy, sexist, misogynistic post, and one I'd hoped would be beneath you.

When the election process reaches the 2020 General Election, you and I can probably agree to vote the same ticket. Not until then! All Grins!

We're talking about her record as a prosecutor and CA AG.
It just happened to be Gabbard who opened Pandora's box at tonight's debate.

with a girl from my hometown on tennis channel and the pan am games in full swing, this WWE level choreographed charade didn't get much attention but I did see the clip of Gabbard napalming Harris. That was good stuff

Bernie's still my top choice, so unless he's your guy (or Warren, who I would also gladly vote for should he step down), probably not. Gabbard rounds out my top three but I don't think she has a chance; the powers that be in the DNC and their media allies are dead set against her, most likely due to her 2016 'betrayal' of the party when she bravely stepped down over Sanders' treatment, and she just doesn't have the star power and following to fight that kind of uphill battle unlike Sanders. There's a reason she's relentlessly smeared in left leaning media for things that ultimately are very trivial and minor compared to the glaring deficiencies of other candidates (like say Kamala's history in CA).

given the crap thrown around-it is a valid point concerning how she got her political start. Are you denying that she engaged in such behavior? I mean this sort of nonsense was thrown at Trump constantly.

His performance tonight probably elevated his chances of advancing to the next debate stage.

I voted for Bernie in the 2016 Florida primary. He never gained traction in the southern states. Defeating Trump, IMO, requires a team capable of a strong performance in the 7 battleground states: FL 29 PA 20 MI 16 NC 15 AZ 11 WI 10 NH 4. 105 EVs at play! Little to no chance of me voting for Bernie another time.

Are you actually equating an affair years ago between two consenting, available adults with Trump having nearly two dozen women come forward with sexual assault complaints, bolstered by an actual audio of candidate Trump bragging about having sexually assaulted women without their consent, and incontrovertible proof that Trump paid off two women to remain silent about their affairs with him? Really??

If so, your question deserves no response, and that's what it will receive.

I honestly hope so. I've been a fan since long before he threw his hat into the presidential ring. :)

Trump didn't use that to get into political office. Is Trump a SLUT? absolutely. Did he cheat on his Wife or wives? almost assuredly. Did he harass women? that I don't know because we all have seen this sort of claim surface against people who have come into the public eye. But the guy is no model husband. he's a horny tom cat-at best. But Harris's "consensual" relationship seemed to have been nothing more than political convenience. and that is a fair point

Oh, I see. So when we talk about Trump's multitude of indiscretions and wrongdoings, he is just getting his comeuppance. Is there a reason why Harris's past should be an obstacle, while Trump gets a pass?

No, it is not a fair point, it's a sleazy, sexist, misogynistic cheap shot that would have never, ever been flung at a male who had an affair decades ago with an individual he worked with.

I'm done here.

Trump gets a pass?

Since when?

so tell me DiAnna, why does a young attractive politically ambitious female have an affair with a politically powerful married man?

Anyone who voted for him, or considers voting for him has given him a pass.

That's really silly. Both of the candidates were people with all sorts of baggage. Some of us voted on policies, judges and who would be appointing the heads of the executive cabinet positions.

I'm not convinced that other candidates would be stronger than Bernie on the whole; in general I think they would be riskier as a rule. The real weakness and Achilles for Dems last time was the Rust Belt/'Blue Wall', and his appeal there is undeniable.
