Well I guess you got your answer!

Castro and Booker were the winners. Their attacks on Biden were effective and their reasoning was compelling, which will put them in a great position to make it the third round.

Gabbard gave Harris a black eye for sure.

Lol, that is an understatement. I just saw a clip of that and it was brutal.

My Performance Ranking from Last to First:

10. DeBlasio 9. Yang 8. Gabbard 7. Gillibrand 6. Biden 5. Bennet 4. Harris 3. Castro 2. Inslee 1. Booker

Biden held on like a punch drunk boxer. He repeated the same catch phrases... i.e. "The fact of the matter....", "Here's the deal..", "Obama vetted me with ten attorneys...". All 9 of the other candidates articulated better than Biden. All of them managed the time constraints better than Biden. Biden remains the odds-on favorite.

DeBlasio's loud mouth interruption in violation of the format sealed my decision to rank him last.

I kind of like Harris even those she is a pandering little bitch! I think she is attractive and I like her voice sort of.

Tulsi is super hot but is just throwing hail mary's.

Biden has no chance. He is politics as usual.

Castro is a pretty sneaky pick to win the nomination.

DeBlasio is done. I can't stand the loud mouth New Yorkers.

Gillibrand is ok looking.

Booker is just too goofy looking.

Donald Trump won. The Democrats have gone so anti-American and radical beyond any rationality more and more Democratic Party strategists are starting to freak out.

Open borders - a billion more of the most ignorant, impoverished people and criminal fleeing prosecution or believing there are more lucrative victims in the USA on earth going on our welfare system and competing for dwindling blue collar jobs.

Every bum on every corner, every rapist and murderer in prison, every lazy-ass bum, and every millionaire and billionaire is going to be given $12,000 a month, free medical care, and free college.

Increasing the national debt by $200 trillion dollars.

Re-instituting forces school busing.

Another apology tour for the USA's existence to the world.

with a girl from my hometown on tennis channel and the pan am games in full swing, this WWE level choreographed charade didn't get much attention but I did see the clip of Gabbard napalming Harris. That was good stuff

I can certainly tell you who lost, but I can't tell you with any real conviction who won.

Gabbard laid out an incredible and well-deserved smack down on Harris; if there's a winner, Kamala definitely ain't it this time.

Joe, true to form, was clumsy, inflexible and plodding and was generally picked apart; a second loss.

Yang was a phantom and auto-lost as a result.

Booker was probably the closest to being a winner on a points basis, but only by default; everyone else with the exception of Gabbard was weak. Personally and ultimately, I think Gabbard is likely to gain more from this debate and thus is the winner.

The Democratic Party should nominate Tulsi Gabbard. At least she has a likable personality and isn't campaigning like she is desperate. But the media decided that the primary is between Harris and Warren.

I agree. However, if Biden were wise, he'd stay in no matter how much he drops in the polls. This ultra, ultra anti-American, total socialism, open borders, forced school busing, free everything to everyone, everyone will die in 10 years contest of who can be more radical may blow up.

The election is what, 460 days away? Why the hell are there ANY 2020 debates going on?!

While I appreciate the consensus on my post, I have no use for the ridiculous, partisan hyperbole afterwords.

Bizarre that you post on this thread when clearly you didn't watch the debate. What the candidates said isn't "hyperbole."

If you say so.

Joe didn't disappoint at the end.

I agree that all seniors are not welcomed in the Democratic Party - or at least all white seniors. PLEASE, keep laughing at old people. LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS.

Tennis is over and Pan Am games have basketball so I am watching a fox panel that features former Ohio politician Dennis Kuchinich. Biden seems to be getting lots of love from both the right-wingers and DK.

We are talking about it at work, just showed it to some of my coworkers. Lol, I paused it right after Tulsi and told them to listen very carefully to what happens next. Not a single denial of anything Tulsi said about her........

I just watched it again-she was looking mighty uneasy.

I have often said that Kamala's wretched history and decisions as a prosecutor and attorney general are more than enough ammunition to sink her were someone willing to utilize it. It is good to see that begin to pan out, and all the more so from Gabbard.

Pulled up a 7/18/19 post as a date reminder of the early primaries and caucuses.

By March 1st, 2020, those of us tuning in should have a much clearer picture of the direction of the DEM party.

Iowa Caucus.... Feb. 3rd; New Hampshire Primary Feb. 4th; Nevada Caucus Feb. 22nd; South Carolina Primary Feb. 29th.

Meanwhile this week, your guy, Trump The Chump, has decided to go racist, focus away from the Black vote and focus on the Dolt demographic. Perhaps you see this strategy as brilliant; I see it as a gaffe.

that and her sleeping her way to political office. she's not very bright either.

Hard to prove that (and tbh, I don't think she's smart, but she's certainly not Biden dumb) to the point of menacing her, but all this other stuff? Eminently verifiable.
