You can't really play the victim card right now my guy. The President is a racist, I'm not gonna entertain the argument that he's not because I don't have time to waste like that. Trump is a racist, and he's a racist with concentration camps.

I'll go with no. I'd want Trump to be able to say whatever he wants to anybody, therefore I would give that same opportunity to Pelosi.
 
Nancy Pelosi is second in line for the presidency. If something happened to both Trump and Pence we would have President Pelosi. I have a lot of respect for this woman. I don't always agree with her but I respect her decades of knowledge and experience.

A little different angle on this debate. Pelosi is 79 years old. Does anyone really think that someone this old should have this much responsibility and power? In all seriousness, mandatory retirement for the military is 62, for airline pilots 65. Most corporations force you out by 65. They do this for a reason. Most people at this age are no longer productive.

Does anyone think that someone who is worth $200 million should still be working at 79? Is this a sign of mental instability?

The government has a minimum age for running for Congress or President, should they have a maximum age too?

Yes, she broke the House rules in accusing you-know-whom of being a "racist."

But she is an old lady whose time as Speaker is coming to an end. So let her finish her term in dignity.

If the Dems win the House and the White House next year (which seems likely because of media demonizing of the President, because of non-citizens voting, and because of the President's undiplomatic language), the Dems will want to start their conquest with a new exciting and "woke" (female, of course) Speaker.

Let Ms. Nancy retire to her mansion in California and bask in all the accolades that will pour in. She will then become a forgotten senior citizen.

No, Pelosi should not resign. She took her knock for breaking the rule, which is often broken, usually broken without any penalty.

It's a rule which needs to be changed if it doesn't allow members of Congress to speak frankly in the course of their duty to be a check and balance to the Executive branch. Context needs to be added to the rule to draw a distinction between gratuitous insult and substantive observations about conditions which need to be addressed.


There was never a president who needed more "checks and balances" than Trump does.
 
How does Congress impeach a president without doing something that the minority party will call breaking that rule?

If the rule interferes with the Constitutional duties of Congress, it needs to be fixed or eliminated.

For this thing? Hell no. In general? Yup, resign as speaker and give a new generation a shot at leading the house. And choose a person who can build bridges with the other side, even if they have no intention to deal with the democrats as long as that orange oaf is in the WH.

The right should be glad Pelosi is where she is, she is she what stands between the Dems being fully radicalized. You might not like her or here stand on the issues but if the radicals were to take over it would be the end of our way of life, count on that.

Dems aren't even remotely 'radicalized' to any rational, sober observer, either with Pelosi or w/out her.

Our way of life is dependent upon understanding and accepting reality.

Trumpsters consistently describe Trump's ability to make leftwing heads explode as his best quality, and they're often at a loss for words when asked if there is anything else good about him.

Pelosi makes Trumpsters' heads explode AND she is more accomplished, more skillful, more patriotic, more honorable, less cowardly, etc. than Trump. Why would she resign? She has more than proved her value in holding the line against Trump where whipped GOP legislators failed.
