Then Republicans should have not been so thin skinned during Obama administration. :)

Seeing as he had his own issues with abuse of power as people are claiming of Trump. I think many of the republicans stances during that era were well earned.
Here however we have democrats inventing entire conspiracies over Trumps smallest tweets, and have even been reduced to attacking one another as well.

Trump's next mass rally will inform us of much.

We know already about the Trump Rowers who are bumbling along at trying to be obtuse.

Trump Rowers simply can't shift the focus away from Trump and themselves, no matter how doggedly they try.

Alright I must ask. What does Trump Rowers mean in this context, and what do you think this rally will inform people of?

Are you kidding me? Seriously? They have been calling Obama racist and a terrorist sympathizer. They went as far to claim that he's a Muslim and that he was born in Kenya.
That's conspiracy theory in full throttle.

That's a fringe belief, just like with how the left has their own standards. Just because someone is so vocal, does not in fact make it a core belief of the entire group.

And yet Trump believed (probably still) that Obama was born in Kenya. He represents the Republican Party.

Considering Trump peddled those lies for over 8 years how could it possibly be a fringe belief?

I would agree with you, if he hadn't already addressed the issue and stopped.

So when the president elect of the US said "I was wrong about the birtherism and conspiracy theories I've pushed for 8 years about Obama" The entire idea became fringe retroactively?

How did he address it? By demanding Obama's birth certificate then refusing to accept it when he saw it and continue to push the conspiracy theory for years?

I never saw him legitimately apologize and retract those things, but assuming he did, that doesn't undo the fact that he pushed them for 8 years and that among conservatives it was extremely mainstream.

As I'd said, Trump's next mass rally will advise us of much. We can expect the one thing it won't be is enchanting, although chanting may well be the continuing centerpiece of it.

That is, we may get to see who is disciplining whom, ie, will Trump discipline himself and his base? Or will Trump not engage in any chanting discipline to instead let it all hang out? Or will the base not care about campaign discipline and chant regardless of Trump going either way? It's likely the compulsive base can't discipline themselves -- this is very likely. Nor would Trump's base want to try some self-discipline. Trump has as usual closed his own circle at 360 degrees, racing through the 180 degree point faster than ever this time.

I can also imagine so many of the Trump Rowers at home standing and chanting right there in front of their television screens. Trump Rower is a term of art btw that describes Trump Supporters and Dedicated Loyalists. Some Trump Rowers have longer oars while some Trump Rowers have shorter oars so I won't ask you to lift your oar for all to see. Not at the present time anyway.

Methinks the next Trump rally won't inform people of much of anything we don't know already. That is, who the Trump Rowers are.

P.S. Luv your new avatar image thx.

Trump refuses to apologize for the Central Park 5. As I have stated, his past history is questionable.

We're talking about Trumpolini. The American Trumpolini. While I respect your views they could seem awfully generous considering.

So? that does not make it questionable. It merely shows that he stood by what he said and believed it at the time.

He gave no basis for degradation of the individuals involved base on their race during the whole issue when it was ongoing, and did not do so in the years to come. The only proof that people have for this being racist. Is that he's white and they were not, even though not only Trump was calling for justice in this case. Because more than one demographic of people were doing the same back then.

Him being white, is not a reason for much in these cases and I've heard that argument more than a few times.

The verdict is that Trump is Trump.

Your apologia is at the far edge of the extreme fringe of Trump Rowers. Trying to say Trump and His Rowers who lead with their chin are not racist is futile. You're trying to dress up a Trump Rower and take him out. The only place you can take him to is a Trump rally where he can chant Trump's newest chant. Which you try in futility to minimize if not dismiss. This is a loud fail. While the chants are loud your posts are deafening.

Seeing as the movement was never like that, or as racially based as what people believed. Not many really ever cared, until it politically necessary to dig such crap up.

Well, as far as word salads go. That was at the very least pretty tame.

You mind stopping the continued trolling?

So you're saying that simply because someone thinks that you're racist. Simply makes you a racist.

Telling them to simply go back, isn't in itself a racist statement though. So why interpret it as such now?
Besides Trump didn't address anyone directly in that manner either.

Are you serious??? Really??

OMG.

It isn't nice. It isn't helpful. It doesn't provide good optics. It may even be counterproductive. But its deserved in Omar's case. Omar is exactly the sort of person who ought to lose their citizenship and be deported in a freighter hold to Somalia. I can't think of a single redeeming quality in this biological automaton.

She's very stupid, irrational, anti-sematic, a uncharged perjurer, and a lifelong parasite on the US taxpayer. She married her own brother in some sort of immigration scam, filed false tax returns with a fake husband, lied to the court on her ignorance of the whereabouts of her brother, and has never worked a productive or wealth building day in her life.

Shes a taker, a sponge, and imported tick on the civic body. Raised under a fake family name, provided government grants to attend a public university under false pretenses, and made most of her income from elective office, that provided her taxpayer paid income to tell the rest of us taxpayers what we can and cannot do.

Why import such people? Who needed them?

Convict her on a crime, put her in a spare (disabled) freezer, poke a few holes in the door and load her up, and ship her out.

Hell yes go back where you came from.

But then, I'm in a good mood this evening, catch me tomorrow and I'll be much less kind.

This post is despicable.

You're deflecting. We're not even debating whether it was racist or not, we're debating whether birtherism and other conspiracies about Obama being a Muslim and hating America were part of conservative mainstream groupthink at that time, and it absolutely was.

You're trying to dismiss 8 years of conspiracy drenched hyperbole as "fringe" by claiming that Trump somehow ended all of it and apologized, which he didn't.

Birtherism was extremely popular from 2008-2016 and is likely something Trump still believes. If that concept is fringe, its main pusher, Donald Trump is also fringe.

I see big open sky posts with only a two mule wagon beneath.

This is about Trumpolini and his chants. And his "fans."

It's about attitude, rhetoric, posture, manner and content. It's about those who march alongside him.

Are you serious??? Really??

OMG.

If you're having this hard of a time understanding simple logic. Then I suggest you go do something that is actually productive.

Conservative source most likely, yes. But not mainstream.

All of those qualifiers that have been routinely pulled either out of context completely, or lied about en mass for political reasons?

Conservative source most likely, yes. But not mainstream.

Haha, good, at least you admit that. Even my dear old evangelical parents actually jumped on the "Obama is a foreign born muslim who hates America" bandwagon peddled by Trump and many prominent conservatives.

Now we're seeing made up conspiracies about Omar marrying her brother, hating Jews and America and all kinds of wacky ****. You should call this out in your party when you see it.

Not far enough for the deplorables....and it will never be far enough for them

Conservative source most likely, yes. But not mainstream.

This down below is exactly what I'm talking about. I'm not sure who is coming up with all these nutty conspiracy theories but conservatives eat them up and accept them like candy, no questions asked.

I see the conservative group-think machine has been coming up with all kinds of new, completely unsupported slander against Omar. You read a conservative blog somewhere claiming that Omar married her brother, and you hate her anyways, so why not just assume it's true?

The **** you guys will make up out of thin air just to justify your hate is astounding.

Well seeing as the whole birther argument was started as democrat opposition research, or at least partly through democratic supporters. While no one really knows who started this whole thing with Omar possibly marrying her brother, to defraud immigration law. Even when asked about it, Trump said it's something that he'd only heard about it.

So no one really knows as of yet. Unfortunately for Omar, it's becoming more apparent that someone wasn't too far off base when they thought of this.

It's kind of funny actually.
