The fact that we are debating deporting those who disagree, a policy completely contrary to American norms, values and history, tells us how far discourse has devolved since Jan. 20, 2017.

I can tell you that Obama wasn't thinking that his right-wing critics should be deported. The fact that Trump thinks that way tells us a great deal about his {lack of} character.

From how she is criticizing America she would be happier in her **** hole country of Somalia. Might be doing her a favor. Or a trip back home to her tin shack would make her appreciate America a lot more. Win win...either she gets out and stays out (my preferred option for her) or she comes back with a renewed appreciation for the US of A.

Funny, you never once criticized anything about America when Obama was in office....right?

You are soaking in a hypocrisy hot tub.

It is the kind of thing that an overly insecure little dictator would say to try to compensate for his own shortcomings....

No she should not be sent back. Just as police officers should not be "fried like bacon" as Obama supporters in the BLM movement chanted.

Crazies on both sides. Partisan politics is for suckers IMO.

I guess the difference is that the guy at the very top of the Republican party and our nation is "crazy" screaming to deport his critics. Obama certainly never said anything like "police officers should be fried like bacon".

You can't argue it's a fringe belief when it was peddled and cultivated by the president himself.

He wasn't arguing. He was just running interference, trying to muck up the thread. They all do the same thing in any thread about Trump that fails to praise him.

It's what I would expect from an insecure guy with a dick that looks like a mushroom.

One that is beloved by angry white nationalist incels...

Deported where? Back to the United States?

That's what the crowd was chanting and Trump was basking in like it was the sweetest of honey, what Trump suggested in his Tweets. Don't blame us for just using Trump's own arguments. Yes, they are stupid, but that's where we are.

The CFO of one of Trumps failed New Jersey casino's, a longtime Trump Organization employee, said today that yes, Trump is a racist. He said Trump has a special hatred for Puerto Ricans from his days managing tenements in NYC for his dad Fred. This CFO said that there were certain Trump buildings that were designated as "white". No blacks or Puerto Rican's allowed. He always called blacks lazy. To me, this explains why Trump did as little as possible for Puerto Rico after the hurricane. Throwing paper towels at the people who had just lost everything.

He said that Trump is doubling down on his racism (A lot of Americans feel as I do) not just for his base, but that Trump actually believes that most white Americans feel exactly as he does about people of color. These are the voters Trump is trying to bring into his political tent with the continuing attacks on the four Democrat congresswomen. He believes that white America, in general, is at core as racist as he is. That is a stunning assessment.

I see it as a avoidance technique. Just like an alcoholic that thinks everyone would be fine if only everyone else would leave them alone, some people would rather isolate themselves than address a problem.

To be clear, Trump is trying to avoid addressing the valid concerns of his opposition by removing the opposition. That's right out of Stalin's playbook, btw.

Truth is it validates the problem to see him squirm like a 5yo and ramble like a 90yo, trying to avoid admitting there are any legitimate concerns about him or his policies.

See, these people want to either deny or justify it, just like the two people that responded to me. They don't, however, deny as often as they do justify. They only deny on rare occasions when something bad, with all sorts of evidence, is pointed at them. They justify almost everything that their side does. When it comes to violence, they blame Trump, his supporters, and or anyone to the Right of them for their rhetoric because they claim it's inflammatory and hateful. They know it isn't true. They just want to eliminate and destroy opposition, instead of making their case and show evidence. They tried to justify the beating of the Asian homosexual by saying that he's a conservative so, in their minds, he had it coming. They invaded Tucker Carlson's home, trying to get into the house with his wife inside by herself, because, again, in their minds, he reporting is so hate filled. They sent death threat letters to the 8 year old who did mocking impersonations of AOC because it was too insulting to someone who's trying to save the planet, they would say.

Think about that: AN 8 YEAR OLD GIRL GETTING DEATH THREATS BECAUSE SHE MADE FUN OF A CONGRESSWOMAN BY ACTING LIKE HER(which were really good)! Full grown adults feeling threatened and offended by a child. I haven't heard ONE Leftist try to stand up for this girl's right to make and poke fun of someone she disagrees with. I couldn't tell you how many times they make fun Trump and other conservatives lately. No death threats nor lawsuits. I don't think they're funny, but they have the right to do it, so long as they're not encouraging violence against the president. But as soon as a kid, not even 10 years old yet, makes fun of one of them, in their minds, it's BLASPHEMY.

My 5 year nephew is making fun of Leftist states like New York and California, saying they're trash-holes and he's going to fix them by being a good Christian and praying for them. So does he deserve death threats because he called Leftist states crap and he's going to be like a Christian missionary and reintroduce them to Jesus Christ? In my opinion, he's not wrong and they do need help, but to the Left, those states are holy sites, so it would be heresy, in their eyes, to try and fix them. Big government is their god and the elected officials are the disciples, so this idea of trying to introduce this Jesus character goes against their beliefs. In their minds, many of them want to stop him from saying that and they'll try to justify it very close to the way that was laid out. So just like those two that commented, it proves that the Left tries to justify everything, from lawsuits to violence, they do.
