How does Trump's weekend tweet make him a full-blown Jim Crow racist?

He raves without forethought... I'll give you that, but you are wrong to say that this president is attempting to hold minorities back. In fact, people who say this are outright lying to themselves to advance their own political agendas.

Trump has a right to call out extremism, Antisemitism and the hate that is coming from this group of elected women. The anti-America squad's verbal diarrhea, babbling about ICE, detention camps, Israel need condemnation.
The increase of extremism on the left is rising...

I am always amused with those who claim Trump is stupid. Does he say some stupid things-absolutely. Does he have a genius level IQ such as the late Nixon, Bush or perhaps Bill clinton-NO. but he isn't stupid. statistically, I suspect he is smarter than 85% of the posters on this board and smarter than 98% of the public

It's been noted Trump speaks at a fourth grade reading level. He may be good at marketing himself and saying what people want to hear but I'd hardly call him a scholar.

There are many levels of racism. If you imagine racism as a scale between 1-10 where 10 is a member of the Klan and 1 is the most woke person in the world I would say that 1-2 is mostly harmless and incidental. I'd say the average person is probably around a 3-4 and could do better. I'd say the average white male is round a 5-6. I'd say the average Republican is a 6-7. I'd say that Trump himself is an 8, and I would say his core base is a 9-10.

What's important more than anything though is that Trump and most Republicans know full well that they have absolutely no chance whatsoever of winning a national election without the full support of every single 9-10 racist in the country, and that they will not lose a single solitary vote from a 4-7 racist just for being racist.

The result is that when in doubt the Republican party knows it is better off erring on the side of being too racist than not racist enough.
 
We've known Trump is a racist for a long, long, long time. It's not debatable.

She did not want Trump on her side and actually Trump doesn't want that too. But, Pelosi was being seen as opposing the 4 Musketeers. So, Trump found a way to force Pelosi to defend the 4 Musketeers and now Pelosi looks like she's supporting them with their communist and fascist attacks on Trump, Liberty, Freedom and Capitalism. With a new internal poll done by Democrats showing most swing voters do not support the 4 Musketeers and only 21% support socialism, now Pelosi is scene as in support of the 4 Musketeers. Brilliant Trump!!!

His racism and prejudice has been documented way back to the 1970's. FACT: Trump campaigned to have the 'Central Park Five' put to death despite the fact that these five teenage black boys were found innocent of a crime. FACT: Trump is the guy who phoned into a daily talk radio show to complain that his beloved neighborhood in Queens was being integrated. FACT: Trump is the guy that said he'd never allow a black man to count his money and he'd only trust one wearing a 'yarmaka'.

FACT: From Trump right down to the most powerful cabinets picks he's made include Jefferson Beauregard Sessions who claimed that the only reason he didn't join the Ku Klux Klan was because "some of them smoked marijuana". Michael Flynn who continually drew a comparison of Muslims to terrorists. Installing Steve Bannon in the White House as an advisor, a known white supremacist. Then there Stephen Miller who is his eternal white supremacist ghost whisperer right there in the White House. Sebastian Gorka, a man who was awarded a medal, which he proudly wears every day, from a white neo-Nazi Hungarian group.

There is absolutely no denying that Trump is both racist and a white nationalist. This morning he claimed "I don't have a racist bone in my body." Facts dispute that.

I laugh at that nonsense which also said this


At the top of the list were Hoover and Jimmy Carter, who were basically at an 11th-grade level, and President Barack Obama, in third place with a high ninth-grade level of communicating with the American people.



I coach kids in those age brackets. The average ninth graders are not anywhere near Obama. That "study" is complete BS.
 
I don't know what is in the president's heart. What I do know is that he has never explicitly stated that he believes he or other white people are superior to non white people. It's inane that any and all criticism that is levied against a non white person is now deemed racism in this day and age. His recent tweets were idiotic, inflammatory and at best troll-ish but he never once mentioned or criticized their race.

Tangentially, I am willing to bet that a majority of people who are willing to claim the president is a racist for his comments fully subscribe and adhere to an inherently racist concept such as white privilege. People like AOC and the others the president has criticized freely tweet about white people and white males in the pejorative and their ardent supporters along with the media don't bat an eyelash.
