Since when did "Are you proud of your race?" change meaning to, "Are you a white supremacist"?
Who did that...what happened...what the hell did I miss?

That what I was thinking.

Black people are not the majority power. They are a minority. Therefore, empowerment is just. The social empowerment of a disproportional majority power is inherently bigoted.

The white supremacists are not the majority power. They are a minority. :)

Try sociology 101, social power dynamics. Your high school has failed you.

The empowerment of a minority power seeks to demarginalize.

The empowerment of a majority power, especially a disproportional one, is inherently bigoted because it can only marginalize.

Um did you see his post? He has a point. How did the question, "are you proud of your race", turn into "are you a white supremacist?"

Pride in race by the majority power is inherently racist. There's only one reason to be proud of a race and that's overcoming social injustice.

I think I’ve done this question before but it’s come up again and the whole idea of taking pride in your race seems odd to me, like being proud you’re right handed or that you have two feet. Am I missing something (I mean about this in particular, so pipe down potential wise asses :2razz:). Attaching poll.

I never gave it much thought. I've been military all my life where race and religion wasn't important. I'm really surprised at how much attention civilians give race. It's hard for me to understand, in fact I don't.

Are you insinuating that if a person has white skin, that they are, by default, an oppressive and outwardly racist person, and thus should never commit the mortal sin of pride in one's self...or race?

No, that's idiotic.

I'm saying the only legitimate reason to take pride in race is overcoming social injustice. That's a fact.

White pride is racist. Always.

Show me one white pride organization or advocate that's not racist.

Oh what utter horse ****!
Man ur really flyin' at low altitude today...ain't ya.

So you think the OP meant that?

The OP employed a false equivalence that apologizes for and promotes white pride. That false equivalence is the basis of all white pride advocacy. All white pride is racist.

Well that's simply BS.
Black people were the seed of humanity. They should be proud of that. They also today, dominate in sport. They should be proud of that too. Just a couple examples...

Every race on Earth has accomplishments for which they should have pride.

You don't tend to think before you type...do you.

So everyone except white people can be proud of their races?

Show us an example of a non racist white pride organization or advocate.

You never will because you cannot.

OK...disprove it then. Show me that someone somewhere managed to actually do more than go..."Oh that's just nonsense."
The ONLY real "proof" I've ever seen is that the basement was not really the dungeon the conspiracy theory said was there.
And that's pretty convincing actually. But as I was saying before...

You need to be "serious" and actually read a person's stated opinion, instead of making up your own preferred perception of a person's opinion...
Right?

You've already outed yourself, I have no idea who you're trying convince with these post. Is this some sort of coping mechanism?

Skin color is only one aspect of race. Broadly speaking, Middle Easterners, North Africans, Jews, Iranians, Indians, and Somalians, among others, are all part of the broader "caucasian" racial group, and share many phenotypical similarities with Europeans. I see no reason to not be proud of this shared racial heritage, and the many accomplishments of these peoples, however race pride seems most often used as a way to try and exclude people from this shared heritage, rather than to include them.

LOL. Now who's being racist? :lamo

Show us an example of a non racist white pride organization or advocate.

You can't. Because of social dynamics. The dynamics I'm teaching you about.
