it's difficult to predict this far out. if the Democrats actually show up this time around, they have a chance.

Pretty much this. Much depends on who the Democrats put against him.

:D Personally, I'm rooting for a Williamson-Biden ticket, but  we'll see :)

You have that right. There are signs that the Democratic party is breaking up, as in imploding, as in ceasing to be an effective party. We will see. They may regroup on a broader scale or we may be looking at another Roosevelt revolution.

I don't really see the party as breaking up, I see it as being swallowed up by the socialist/progressive movement. Look at the shift just over the last few years ago. It wasn't long ago the Pelosi represented the more progressive side of the party, she is considered one of the more moderate figures in the party now. Bernie Sanders wasn't considered a Democrat, now he is the soul of the party as there is really only 1 legitimate candidate that doesn't support much if not all of the Sanders platform.

I'm still at rooting against. That's a concern.

That would be enough to marginalize the whole party. The non-socialist parts would drift to the Republicans or go silent. Eventually, some will reactive them.

Assuming there's a clean election (viz., minimum of non-citizen voters), the President's chances seem to be getting better every day thanks to his enemies.

Many Dem candidates and celebrities seem to becoming more deranged each day, perhaps because they sense that he may actually get reelected.

Even Vice President Biden has decided to leave the high road and is getting nasty.

Hopefully, the Silent Majority is watching carefully and will vote the right way next year.

Any Democrat always has a better chance at winning

Hopefully,

You know what Ben Franklin said about "Hope" Parser?

" He that lives on Hope will die fasting"

Wise man wan't he?

Voter fraud is minimal

It's our citizenry that votes you have to really worry about

The title says it. Open 180 days

I am guessing that the 40% in the middle are tired of the noise and daily me,me,me rants. The partisans on either side are irrelevant as they vote straight party. Of course turnout is another essential. If dems pick a loon the race could be close again.

I do agree with you about the "silent" majority. First off the Democrats policies are not popular even with a good number of Democrats especially blue collar Democrats. Those blue collar workers know implementing phasing out all fossil fuel means phasing out their jobs too. Union workers usually have really good healthcare. They are not interested in giving that up for Medicare for all or single payer ideas. They also don't care for illegals being paid on the cheap to do the same type of union job that they hold. There's a lot of white Democrats that are fed up with this narrative of white privilege. Blue collar workers are not known to have been born with a silver spoon in their mouth. Many of them know what being poor is like.

The leftists that seem to be running the Democratic party which includes Hollywood darlings have become so enraged spewing vile divisive rhetoric it is turning people off. And their friends in the media that push this divisive rhetoric are viewed by an overwhelming majority to not be trustworthy for news. The new talking point among them is "Trump is a racist" and his supporters are racists." They are encouraging confrontations with Trump donors. But it is backfiring on them. The protesters came out last night to protest Trump's fundraisers. The fundraisers far exceeded any expectations. After Castro posted the names of big donors to Trump in the San Antonio area, people started showing up to protest / boycott their businesses. I believe one donor owns Millers? BBQ. Last night it was reported that the cars lined up all the way around the block to order some BBQ. It reminded me of the boycott the left leveled against Chick-Fil-A. When that happened the Chick-Fil-A close to me, had a line so long it went through an entire mall with lines out in the street in both directions at both entrances. I was there. Took about 70 minutes or so to get two chicken sandwiches.

Trump is already behind in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. If a predicted recession also hits, Trump is toast.

Trump wins no question! Sleepy Joe is leading the dem polls and he won’t even remember his name by the time the election is held.

It's Labor Day, the unofficial start of the political season.

Has anyone changed their position?

Bump after another month. Trump is still favored.

This poll will run through the end of the year. Expect a new one in January.

Mostly expecting him to win at this point.
The Democrats have been found actually needing to lie about what has been said not only publically, but about conversations that they were not even party to.

Now with Cortez abandoning this whole impeachment train and leaving Pelosi holding the oars of a sinking ship. We'll see just how this ends up soon enough.
