If any have conditions like some examples I've seen, they have to be updated and improved before people are detained there again.Based on what you know about the border, should the detention centers be closed down?
Send them right back across the border, on foot, into Mexico, after photo/prints/DNA with a prison warning if they come back.Lets say we shut them down. If he isnt going to be detained somewhere, what happens when someone crosses the border illegally?

They don't get to pick and choose where they want to go -- the first country they enter after their own is supposed to be the country they seek "refuge" in.
If they are Mexicans, tough. Mexico is not a politically oppressive country. Let them apply for a visa at the U S. Consulate in Mexico City.
Or how about an exchange program? For every border jumper we admit, we send one "progressive" to their country and the illegal gets the prog's house, bank accounts, vehicles and wardrobe. See how quickly these "progressives" change their tune. [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
