I voted no because I know as a former solder the last thing I would want to do is a stupid parade, especially on a holiday. I know from my experience just doing change of command ceremonies it isn't as simple as telling the troops today we will do a road march on in front of the white house and they just go do it. Its countless uniform inspections, vehicle inspections, weapon inspections, rehearsals,and just standing around waiting to do stupid rehearsals all of which are a pain in the ass to your average soldier,sailor,airman and marine. Sure there might be some ass kissers in the military who probably see this as a way of scoring some cool points with chain of command but those are not your average soldier, sailor,airman or marine.

I doubt draft dodger Trump has any idea what it is to be a military member.

I remember once when Vice President Agnew was just flying into our base. The base went crazy in preparation. Including massive clean up of our quarters and inspections of our rooms ………………………... just in case Agnew may want to inspect our barracks. God forbid Vice President Agnew's first response after landing would be " You know, I have a very busy schedule but I kind of like to just go through all the barracks and see if their beds are made".

Trump rallies are a lot of fun. This bothers the Democrats, since their rallies are boring, such that nobody shows up except fake news. The real fear of the Democrats is that Trump will have a very successful and fun pack 4th celebration, which will make them look even more lame and boring.

I was listening to Rush Limbaugh the other day and he broadcast a montage of Democrats who were saying that Trump's military 4th of July parade is unprecedented in Washington. He then did his research, and demonstrated that this was fake news and that this tradition was common in the past.

For example, President Clinton had a fly over, on his inauguration. Talk about being a ham. President Eisenhower had the largest parade. If you recall, President Bush had a huge parade after winning Desert Storm.

Who still believes fake news and any Democrat sour grapes propaganda?
